1 CDx XPRESS RAPID PATHOGEN DETECTION SYSTEM PRODUCT DESCRIPTION LIQUID CRYSTAL BIOSENSORS, the heart of the CDx rapid pathogen detection system is the first new food safety testing system with commercial application in the last 30 years. CDx Xpress relies on Liquid Crystal Technology to detect targeted pathogens. CDx Xpress is a faster, simpler, more reliable way of separating the signal from all the background noise, increasing speed of results, and sensitivity. Kit for E. coli O157 Antibody Kits Part # tests per kit Part # Liquid Crystal BioCassettes Part # tests per case Part # ACCURACY An independent, third party study of equipment performance determined that the CDx Xpress rate of false positives was less than 1%, the lowest of any commercial system. SPEED Time to result for initial samples in less than 11 hours, samples per hour thereafter. COST The CDx Xpress System up-front investment is typically less than half of a comparable PCR system, and all-in operating costs are lower as well. CDx is AOAC accredited for the rapid detection of E. coli O157 in Raw Ground Beef, Beef Trim and Spinach. Additional Antibody Kits and food applications available.
