Mice to be supplied by investigator. Preparation of 4NQO water and filling water bottle with 4NQO water. Includes anesthesia, oral image acquisition under a dissecting microscope, and weight measurement. $6/injection $10/injection $5/cage $5/mouse Weight measurement Includes weight measurement. $2/mouse Mouse dissection with image acquisition Murine frozen tissues in RNA Later solution Murine tissue array (defined) Includes dissection, collection of tissues as requested by customer, written dissection notes, and image acquisition under a dissecting microscope. Labeled tubes containing appropriate fixative and other reagents must be supplied by investigator. Murine tongue, esophageal cancerous lesions, or control tissues were harvested from the 4NQO cancer model. Customers can use the frozen tissues for RNA or protein analysis. Murine tongue, esophageal cancerous lesions, or control tissues from 4NQO cancer model. The defined array will contain 18 squamous cell carcinoma lesions, 24 precancerous lesions, and 12 control normal tissues. Customers can use the paraffin array sections for H&E staining and IHC staining. $50/hour $100/up to 4 samples $50/array Soft Diet Provide low-weight mice with soft food diet. $2/cage Page 2

Includes solution changes three times per week. There will be an additional charge for the cost of X-ray film (at cost) if a rapid decalcification method is requested. Time charged in 15 minute intervals. Can include tissue fixation, trimming, labeling, washing and tissue orientation as requested by customer. Includes either processing of fixed samples in Leica TP1020 Tissue processor and embedding in paraffin blocks or freezing sample in OCT. Cost for tissue cassettes is included. Includes trimming and facing or refacing of paraffin or frozen block and first slide with sections. Includes subsequent sections of paraffin or OCT block and up to 3 sections/slide (or more if requested). If requested, OCT sections can be placed on cryotape (provided by Core) for the same charge ($2/section). Includes removal of paraffin from up to 10 slides.
