3 03 Welcome to BioConnections. Our product range has continued to increase over the years providing products for clinical, veterinary, industrial and pharmaceutical microbiology labs. Isolation of your microbe can be achieved with both traditional and chromogenic culture media, screening of both your aerobic and anaerobic isolates can then be undertaken using our range of bench reagents. Further Identification of your isolates continues with Diatabs for biochemical profiling and you can finish with serological confirmation of your isolates with our large range of antisera. With increased awareness of antibiotic resistance our Neo-Sensitabs kits facilitate the phenotypic detection of Resistance Mechanisms (ARMs) such as ESBLs, AmpC and Carbapenem resistance mechanisms. The latest addition to our product range is the Merlin Micronaut system, a broth microdilution system for MIC determinations that is referenced in and fully compliant with EUCAST. Providing a range of plates to cover all organism groups and fully customisable to fit your own AST groupings the Micronaut system has a place in every laboratory. Pro-Lab Diagnostics specialise in the development, manufacture and distribution of innovative kits, reagents and automated systems for Microbiology. Of particular focus at present is our unique strategic alliance with i2a (France) for the supply of the SIRscan automated systems for AST testing. Full details are available upon request, as well as visits to active user sites and our own Virtual Experience training facilities. Our traditional range of products includes the Prolex line of rapid agglutination kits, Prolisa EIA and Proflow lateral flow kits. Always worth a mention of course is the Microbank the original long term storage system for bacteria and fungi, now celebrating 25 years of unrivalled success. Full details for the success of Microbank are available in the Microbank Worldwide Performance Portfolio, copies are available from uksupport@pro-lab.com. or call , and come with free cute penguins!
