No Mandate Source: Project Goal To replace the tools used in the Oakland County Medical Examiner application (CME program) for documents and photo upload so that the application uses supported software. Business Objective Replace Editlet tool which is used to create documents in OCME. The new tool should allow documents to be spell-checked and fonts and margins to be modified. It also should produce printer-friendly version of documents. Replace Applet tool which is used to upload photos. The new method should allow photos to be uploaded from home computers. Currently, the above tools do not allow stated functionality. This is the main business function program for the MEO. It has been in use for over 12 years. These proposed enhancements will allow users to more efficiently apply the functionality, thus improving overall work product. The benefits will be perpetual. Major Deliverables Documents and reports with ability to spell check and change fonts and margins, and produce printer-friendly version. Photos uploaded from home computers. Avoid program issues/conflict with software program upgrades or software that are no longer supported, causing compatibility issues with current program application.
