4 GAMMA - The overall Temenos T24 TM operation tool Real-time monitoring of the Temenos T24 TM environment is essential if IT departments are to ensure business continuity, high availability and the fulfilment of SLA requirements. Gamma is more than a Temenos T24 TM -specific intelligent monitoring application. The product includes overall application and interface monitoring, automation of manual jobs, management and monitoring of COB processes as well as pre- and post-cob tasks, and management of Temenos T24 TM application components. Gamma also provides critical support in managing your environments centrally and in running COBs based on workflows and access rights, all of which are essential for ensuring operational efficiency and avoiding reputation loss. COB Monitor is a web-based component for monitoring COB processes in real time. It displays the current phase, status (normal, warning, major error), job running time, total number of active and pending jobs, and the projected time of post-cob user login. Once a warning or error message appears, a request is sent to the Alerting component. Using COB Monitor all the monitored end-of-day batch processes can be supervised in one summary view. COB Analyser is a web-based tool for analysing, comparing and evaluating COB-related information. This is a powerful component that enables user to be proactive, and to identify trends, threats and correlations. The Analyser supports the IT department through numerous out-of-the box statistics and diagrams that draw on ABRIS s excessive Temenos T24 TM experience and know-how. Online Monitor supports users in monitoring the bank s online IT operations in real time. Its purpose is to detect any discrepancies in the monitored components without delay. GAMMA alerts contain detailed information that allows users to analyse issues. GAMMA Online Monitoring system monitors the Background processes, Database, Security, OFS, Lockings, Disk usage, System performance, OS processes or printers. Remote Configurator allows operators to run Temenos T24 TM and TAFC-level commands directly from GAMMA without going to Temenos T24 TM.
