Value of Applications On Cloud Applications Continue to power organizations around the World As many as 50,000 organizations are still using Notes to provide access to 10 million applications RedPillNow.com In a 2016 Survey by Swing Software, 47% of Respondents were looking to migrate some or all of their Lotus Notes Applications to the cloud Server licensing (and extended support) Sysadmin time costs Backup costs Disk space costs Electricity Monitoring Software Yearly maintenance of Hardware Hardware Costs Security Software Infrastructure Yearly OS maintenance and support The Costs of maintaining on-premise applications are acquisition costs and recurring costs, and they continue to grow. 4

IBM Applications On Cloud What do we offer: Scalable Cloud hosting for your Applications Simple monthly price per database Secure management of applications Customer maintains control over the application design

Service Capabilities INCLUDED: Hosting of one database instance Database health maintained Support for Notes, ICAA and Web Browser access Out of the box features supported Data-At-Rest encryption Data backup and restore Dedicated server for your account (or multiple servers if required) Regular Version upgrades Monthly status reports ADDITIONAL OPTIONS: Development and Test Instances High Availability ( Clustering) Attachment Object Storage Access Service Use your own certifier Use your own SSL Certificates

Locations Locations Dallas, USA Tokyo Frankfurt / Amsterdam Future location

Security Capabilities Network Security: Provided by high performance, state-of the-art firewalls in our Bluemix (Softlayer) environment Physical and Operational security: Separation of Duties and adherence to internal IBM Standards and Audits. Encrypted Transport: All client communications are encrypted with 128 bit algorithms, through SSL on HTTP calls. All NRPC traffic is encrypted using RC4 Data Isolation: There is no direct connectivity with Application Servers, all Client communication is via a secure proxy Encrypted Storage: All data is encrypted at rest within the data centre using industry-standard AES-256 encryption. Keys are managed in-house with industry standard Key Management Improbability Protocol (KMIP)

DAC Vs Private Cloud #domino2025 Use DAC if Use Private Cloud (EMP) if Notes Hosting Location Shared Cloud Environment On Premise or Private Cloud DAC provides cloud based shared infrastructure with dedicated storage and servers. Application Size Less than 25 GB Greater than 25 GB Larger applications require more operational support which is best accommodated by EMP. Client Access Notes/ICAA and Web Notes/ICAA, Web, Other (LDAP, POP, IMAP, etc) If the customer uses other clients or network protocols to access, leverage EMP. Security IBM defined standards Customer defined standards If the customer has a need to control the security standards or have advanced security needs, leverage EMP. IBM owns domain & manages server configuration Customer defines configuration If the customer has a need to manage the domain and servers, use EMP. 10

Analyzing Applications Made Easier New version of ApplicationInsights provides specific filters to identify the apps that are easiest to move to the cloud 13

Advanced Containerized Environment Applications are Deployed in Containers within Application Pods Passthru servers proxy access from public to private network and Firewall to secure network access Dedicated Object Storage with encryption Load Balancer to manage public IP access to servers Admin and management pod hosting SMTP Release, monitoring, and administration services for the environment. 14 Pricing & Licensing Ordering, Part numbers and corresponding Pricing options Licensing Requirements & Compliance Uffe Sorensen Messaging & Collaboration Sales Director IBM Collaboration Solutions 15 15

Pricing Information Simple Sales Model - base $27/ per DB per Month Minimum 1 year commitment BYOL* (Bring your own License) Expected 40 PVU minimum license entitlement Minimum 10 Apps Application is considered a database (nsf) instance Different part numbers based on environment type D00B7ZX - IBM Hosted Applications on Cloud Replica Application Instance per Month. D00B8ZX - IBM Hosted Applications on Cloud Non-production Application Instance per Month. D00B9ZX - IBM Hosted Applications on Cloud Primary Application Instance per Month. 16

Understanding PVUs & servers Docker Application POD 280 PVUs Containers 7 Containers x 40 PVUs each 7 containers x 250 GB storage When the order is received, IBM rep will contact the customer. Rep will ask how many servers the customer requires and other details (such as Domain, ServerID, names.nsf, admin ID & OU certifier) to configure the environment A customer desiring more than two servers in a cluster would order additional replicas (e.g. 3 server cluster requires 10 primary NSFs and 20 replica NSFs) DAC runs Servers in Containers within Docker Pods. Each Pod requires 280 PVU and DAC supports 7 Containers per Pod. So each Server Instance uses 40 PVUs. 17

Understanding Licenses BYOL Accepted licenses Enterprise Server Collaboration Express Complete Enterprise Option (CEO) Dual Entitlement Utility Server Customer is responsible for having enough PVUs to cover on-site + DAC usage of PVUs Enterprise PVU /CAL, CEO Comm, DE are all acceptable underlying licensing types Collaboration Express is acceptable if clustering doesn t exceed two servers. Xworks licensing is acceptable as long as NSFs per server limitation is honored. Monthly licensing options for new customers/customers not active on S&S Xworks licensing 18
