33 UPLC FLR Low Dispersion Flow Cell Axially Illuminated Flow Cell The cell entrance (lens) and opposing wall are optically matched allowing energy to be reflected back for a second opportunity to be absorbed. Double pass design effectively doubles the path length resulting in increased sensitivity. Light is either absorbed on the second pass or exits through the lens reducing scatter. The narrow rectangular shape disperses liquids less than traditional cubic flow cells.
