2 Akselos Cloudbased FEA OVERVIEW Akselos Integra offers a scalable, cloud-based FEA that allows users to test, validate, and optimize their designs in a faster and more cost-efficient way. Akselos FEA offers powerful and complete solutions for both routine and sophisticated engineering problems that cover a spectrum of industrial applications. Akselos FEA uses a scalable infrastructure that is based on high-performance computing (HPC) in the cloud. This provides a powerful FEA solver platform with no in-house IT overhead. 4 Comparing RB-FEA with FEA ANALYZING COMPLEX AND LARGE MODELS Akselos cloud-based FEA has been designed to analyze s of any size. However, solve times and memory requirements grow rapidly for extremely complex and large s, which limits the size any given workstation can solve. Akselos Integra offers the Reduced Basis Finite Element Analysis (RB-FEA) technology that streamlines the analysis workflow for large and complex s, saving time and reducing costs. The key idea is to break the structure into smaller pieces that we call components. A reduced-order is automatically trained for each component. The reduced order s at the component level may then be combined into a single, global that can be solved orders of magnitude faster than FEA.
