In 2017, 5G connectivity will be a board-level agenda item for 50% of the G2000, largely in response to the hype from top-tier mobile network operators over standards and use case potential. In 2019, one in every 25 retail payments will be made using mobile phones, with growth primarily driven by Asia and Africa.
