Product Configuration Matrix: A configuration matrix for products based on Tivoli's process automation engine. Eg) Which versions of Websphere are supported? Ans: Websphere 8, and 9.0. Coexistence Matrix 7.6.x for Tivoli's process automation engine (TPAE): A matrix that shows which process automation engine product versions are formally supported together for 7.6.x. Eg) Which version of the Oil and Gas industry solution is compatible with Maximo ? Ans: Maximo for Oil and Gas 7.6.1

11 Release details and upgrade considerations Server architecture / design o Assess and evaluate current setup (eg. clusters) o Address and performance issues related to the installation o Allows you to scale up (or down) depending if user counts have changed o Simplify setup from an administrative perspective Small: Development Production Medium: Development Test Production Large: Proof of Concept Development 1 Test 1 Production Sandbox Development 2 Test 2 Training May require a full installation / clustering of new servers

12 Release details and upgrade considerations Server architecture / design o Many different ways you can organize and setup Maximo architecture o Design is dependent on size of organization (number of users), integrations, configurations, reports and general usage. Administrative Server: o Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016 o Red Hat Linux Application Server: o IBM Websphere 8.5, 8.5.5, 9.0 o Oracle Weblogic 12.1.x, Database Server: o Microsoft SQL Server 2012, 2014, 2016 o Oracle 11gR2, 12c o IBM DB2 10.1, 10.5, 11.1
