Performs in specific engineering and technical area using knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques acquired through extensive on-the-job or classroom training and practice. Generally may work in one or more engineering specialties. Reviews technical action items and related documents to ensure electromagnetic effects considerations reflect technical and acquisition reform guidance; fabricates, installs, maintains, and repairs a wide range of electronic systems at a highly technical level; fabricates at the subcomponent, component, and unit levels; coordinates and schedules all testrelated activities for assigned projects; and conducts research, drafts test plans, and analyzes test results. Assists in the analysis of reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design project. Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, permits and designs for project. Work requires a high degree of ability, engineering skill and judgment. Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or Associated Science Four years of project-related experience. Work requires a high degree of ability, engineering skill and judgment. Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or Associated Science Eight years of project-related experience. CAD Specialist Provide designer-level CAD input of engineered projects. Perform plan sheet layout, title blocks, background design, general design modifications, drawing notes and standard references. Execute modification of drawings as design is developed into final documents. High School graduation or equivalency certification, or completion of a technical or trade, under-graduate, or military school course of study in drafting, drawing, or illustration. 2 years experience using Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) techniques or automated graphics programs, adhering to military standards governing style and format.
