15 STUDYING IN DENMARK Tomorrow you will get information about studying in Denmark (Introduction to Academic Study Culture) Informal tone - no Professor/Mr/Ms necessary Rigid time (it is on time) except for the academic quarter Students are expected to demonstrate critical and independent thinking Discussions with professors as well as fellow students are encouraged But no talking amongst yourselves Fewer classes/ assignments -> more self study/study groups. 16 INTRODUCTION WEEK The program contains both activities arranged by the AU International Centre(IC) and by us here at Aarhus BSS International. Activities at Campus Fuglesangs Allé, IC, University Park, Stakladen (close to the Student House) and day with mentors All activities from Monday January 22 Friday January 26 (except social events in the afternoon and evenings) are mandatory. Wednesday: Remember to bring your own food and water.
