4 WAI History 1982 Our office opens in Fort Wayne, IN as a subsidiary of Willy Aumann KG, Germany under the name of Aumann North America Inc We are growing and move to a new building with larger office space, show room and warehouse No longer a subsidiary of Aumann GmbH we are now an independent group and work as a manufacturers representative under the name Aumann Inc We change our name to Winding Automation Inc. to better reflect our new role as a multi-manufacturer representative with larger product portfolio.
