The Hydroskin hydrophillic surface coating ensures an easy glide through any vasculature and lesion site. Three-Tip-Softness Choose from the Metis three-tip-softness options to get the perfect balance between stiffness and softness required for any challenging PCI procedure. Floppy, Supersoft and Soft tips offer high atraumatic flexibility of choice for any case. Shape your own The distal 15 mm flattened Nitinol core wire and the 13 mm stainless steel shaping ribbon can be shaped and re-shaped, they are available as Straight Tip (STR) and J-Tip (J). Hydroskin To optimise passing through the coronary vasculature and tracking Metis has been coated with the hydrophillic Hydroskin, especially modified for metallic surfaces. The entire 25 cm distal spring coil has been coated. Matchlink Metis proximal stainless core wire is connected to the distal Nitinol core wire by our Matchlink Welding technique creating a seamless core wire construction providing the most effective 1:1 transmission of push, tactile feedback and torque. To see is to know Metis provides opacity for positioning and sitting. The distal 3 cm Platinum/Nitinol spring coil is highly radiopaque, the 22 cm proximal spring coil provides radiolucency. There is an extra radiopaque marker 5 cm from the tip.
