5 SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM New Supplier Qualification Potential suppliers are screened to: 1 2 Ensure they are financially 3 viable through a credit Determine if they can supply products in accordance with Converge s quality, delivery, scheduling, and pricing requirements report (Dunn & Bradstreet) Identify any outstanding grievances through industry watchdog sources such as ERAI & (GIDEP when applicable) If approved, new supplier is entered into Converge s database and a performance history begins

6 SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM Managing and Re-Evaluating Existing Suppliers 1 Within Converge s system each supplier s account code is a hyperlink to a performance scorecard for that supplier. Performance ratings are automatically calculated by the system based on the following categories 2 3 PO Lines Created PO Lines Returned to Vendor PO Lines Received On Time % PO Lines Rejected % PO Lines Canceled Due to Supplier Failure to Deliver % The supplier scorecard shows overall performance scores for both the previous 12 months, and previous month time periods.

8 SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM Re- Evaluation of Supplier Performance Commodity Management reviews reports periodically to identify and evaluat e New supplier performance Suppliers that have changed status (e.g. caution to problem ) Problem suppliers Suppliers that have dropped in score (20 point s) Suppliers w ith m ajor rejections Determine appropriate actions, including Change supplier classification, if indicated Initiate corrective action, if indicated Inactivate poor perform ing suppliers if necessary Document and save minutes
