2 Strategy Implementation Overview The strategic plan was approved by UP Board of Trustees on 12/1/17 The UP community will bring the strategic plan to life through a rigorous and thoughtful execution plan with detailed support from expert program managers We will engage collaborative teams, organized by strategic pillar, to lead this work

3 Strategy Implementation Guiding Principles Teams are cross-functional and comprised of faculty, staff, administration, and students. Expectations are well-defined and accountability is clear All group members actively participate and treat each other with respect Teams are supported by dedicated program managers that bring expertise in rigorous project and program management techniques Progress is transparent through consistent reporting and two-way communication Online tracking and communication tools are utilized by all to ensure rigor and transparency Successes are celebrated by all and challenges are addressed
