NHS Five Year Forward View: Harnessing Technology and Innovation NHS National and GDE Investment Programmes Digital Programme The Strategy defines a range of digital transformation programmes and plans. The investment required to deliver the Digital Transformation Strategy has been estimated and included in the Capital Plan.

2 There is opportunity for match funding of 3m for 2018/19 and 2019/20 from the NHS GDE Programme over two years. This application has been successful and we have been invited to move to the next stage of developing the funding agreement. Business Cases will be developed for the investment and on-going revenue commitment following approval of the Strategy. Summary Following receipt and approval of the Trust s Digital Transformation Strategy at the May 2018 Board of Directors Meeting, an outstanding action was to provide a high level timeline/road map to accompany this strategy prior to publication on the Trust s website. This was made available to EDG members at their meeting on the 4 th October 2018 and to Board members, via dated 12 October In accordance with a request from the Trust Chair the timeline/roadmap is presented here today to note receipt and to complete the action. 3 Next Steps Following receipt, the Digital Transformation Strategy will be published on the Trust s website. 4 Required Actions Board to note receipt.
