Support for BPM solution related malfunctions with related SLAs and ability to log requests online The successful bidder is expected to carry out necessary due diligence to assess the business processes at RECL before submitting the bid. The bidder should provide information on standard benchmarks for the proposed servers such as TPC-C certified by transaction processing council and/or Oracle TPMC that is made available in respective websites. The server should be scalable to 4 Processor Sockets The successful bidder is expected to carry out study of existing IT 4. However, bidder is expected to inform RECL in advance for such planned visit. The bidder should provide information on standard benchmarks for the proposed servers such as TPC-C certified by transaction processing council or Oracle TPMC or Spec_int_rate or equivalent that is made available in respective websites. The proposed server should be of at least 2 Processor Sockets. The successful bidder is expected to carry out study of existing IT systems in

Any data required to be migrated from current systems to the ibpms shall be undertaken by successful bidder. Resource deployment at RECL Bidder should consider high availability (active-passive) architecture at primary and secondary data-center. The architecture at secondary datacenter should be a mirror image of primary data center. The resource for virtualization layer management is expected to manage common virtualization layer to be used by other application as well. The contract period will commence from the date of issuance of the purchase order. The term of the contract shall be 54 months (including the implementation phase, stabilization phase and support phase) which may be extendable for up to 2 years in which contract renewal shall be done on a year on year basis at the sole discretion of RECL. Hence, the duration of engagement is 54 months (3 months (implementation) for phase + 2 RECL and phase out the systems getting replaced by ibpms after taking due approval from RECL The successful bidder is expected to migrate maximum of 0 GB of data pertaining to applications such as VMS and Bill tracking system etc. All the deployed resources during implementation phase at RECL shall be on successful bidder s/oem s payroll. Bidder should offer high availability (Active-Active) with no single point of failure at Primary data center (PDC). DR to be of same capacity as PDC. However, high availability (HA) is not expected at DR. The resource (L or higher) for virtualization layer management is expected to manage common virtualization layer to be used by other application as well. In case the deployed resource is not able to provide intended services as mentioned in the RFP then bidder is expected to fulfill the requirement either by replacing the deployed resource or providing additional resource at no extra cost to RECL. Refer to Appendix 2 The contract period will commence from the date of issuance of the purchase order. Note:. The prices quoted in the commercial bill of material shall be inclusive of all the applicable taxes, duties and levies except GST. Bidder is expected to provide GST details in column H of Table. 2. TCO would be derived by taking the NPV for table in Annexure 4: Commercial Bill of Material. In order to calculate NPV, rates exclusive of GST would be considered. 3. Bidder is also expected to provide details in column I (Quantities considered) and column J (Unit of Measurement) of Table. 4. Price to be quoted for whole lot for respective line items. Unit rates are not required to be quoted. For calculating Unit rates for line item 2, 3, 4 and 5 (Price quoted in column A for respective line item/ quantity mentioned or quoted for respective line item, in column I) shall be used. 5. The cells highlighted in yellow are required to be filled by bidder. Procurement for Subsidiaries:. Subsidiaries may procure additional licenses as per the rate quoted by the bidder in Table. Payments for such requests/ orders shall be made on a pro-rata basis. The minimum commitment for such additional licenses would be 25 users. 2. Subsidiaries may procure servers and additional hardware (if required) as per details mentioned in Table 2. Training cost shall be derived from rates quoted by bidder in line item 0 of Table. Payments for training shall be made on a pro-rata basis i.e. man-days for training. 5. ATS, AMC and operation and maintenance services cost shall be derived from rates quoted by bidder in Table. Payments for such services shall be made on a pro-rata basis. 6. Commercials quoted in table and table 2 to be used for procurement for respective subsidiary shall remain valid for a period of not less than 80 days from the date of bid submission with an extension of upto 90 days at discretion of RECL. 7. Scope of work for server management services of other hardware (except in-scope hardware) is similar to server management services mentioned in section RECL may further request to increase the server management resource as per the rate quoted in the commercial bill of material for server management services of other hardware. 7. Unit of measurement for above quantity is in man-month. Bidder shall quote man-month rate under the unit rate column and total shall be (unit rate) X (2). 8. Resource should have an experience of 2-3 years in Windows/Linux server management.
