2 A basic version, IBM Maximo Asset Management Essentials, is available for smaller installations that require a subset of the asset and work management features in the Maximo Asset Management products. With Maximo Asset Management Essentials, smaller organizations and departmental clients, with a limited of users that require a simple yet proven asset and work management solution, can take advantage of Maximo Asset Management technology. IBM Maximo Asset Management Essentials enables these organizations to organize, track, and manage their asset and work processes, and more quickly implement a maintenance regimen based on proven best practices. They include solutions that address different needs throughout your enterprise: production departments that depend on asset availability and reliability to meet quotes and yields; and business managers who need to increase revenues, achieve higher margins, make fully informed investment decisions, and define, manage, and monitor efforts to comply with regulatory requirements. You can use Maximo Asset Management products to help: Support asset, work, and service management business processes in your enterprise. IBM Maximo Asset Management product options IBM Maximo Linear Asset Management This option is available as a chargeable component of IBM Maximo Asset Management and allows you to track, manage, and optimize performance levels of linear assets such as roads, railways, and pipelines. It allows you to virtually segment linear assets as well as to view and modify attributes, features, and user-defined relationships, without impacting the underlying geometry otherwise known as dynamic segmentation and without losing critical work history. Maximo Linear Asset Management allows you to relate linear assets using user-defined relationships in lieu of the classic parent/child hierarchy. It supports multiple linear referencing methods, allowing you to locate work using exact measures or offsets based on one or more features or relationships. IBM Maximo Asset Navigator V7.1 This Web-based graphical navigator provides you with fast access to detailed parts and equipment illustrations, diagrams, drawings, and related documentation. IBM Maximo Change and Corrective Action Manager V7.1 This option enables fully integrated, comprehensive change and release management for your assets, and helps you identify and take corrective action. Policy administration, process management, and planning capabilities can help you increase the speed, efficiency, and consistency of change implementations while helping you manage, monitor, prioritize, and document your efforts to assess and minimize business risk. Advanced release management capabilities enable you to define the tasks, schedules, and resources required to release authorized versions and asset configurations into the production environment. IBM Maximo SLA Manager V7.1 IBM Maximo SLA Manager allows you to define service offerings, establish service level agreements, and implement escalation procedures to help meet service levels, and provides metrics to monitor service level delivery. IBM Maximo Asset Management Essentials V7.1 IBM Maximo Asset Management Essentials is a separate, trimmed down basic edition of IBM Maximo Asset Management V7.1 targeted for organizations and departmental clients who have a limited of users requiring a subset of the asset and work management features available in IBM Maximo Asset Management V7.1. It helps you to organize, track, and manage all of your asset and work processes and more quickly implement a maintenance regime. Use the following two-step process to determine the total Passport Advantage points value: 1. Analyze your environment to determine the of charge units for a product. A Passport Advantage point value, which is the same worldwide for a specific part regardless of where the order is placed, is assigned to each IBM Tivoli product part. The sum of these Passport Advantage points determines the Passport Advantage point value of the applicable IBM Tivoli product authorizations which then may be aggregated with the point value of other applicable Passport Advantage product acquisitions to determine the total Passport Advantage points value. The discounted pricing available through Passport Advantage is expressed in the form of Suggested Volume Prices (SVPs), which vary depending on the SVP level. Each SVP level is assigned a minimum total Passport Advantage point value, which must be achieved, in order to qualify for that SVP level. Media packs and documentation packs do not carry Passport Advantage points and are not eligible for SVP discounting. A program licensed under an authorized user PoE may be installed on a single computer or server, and accessed by multiple users, provided that a PoE has been obtained for each individual user accessing the program either directly or indirectly (via a multiplexing program, device, or application server) through any means on behalf of the user.
