This includes fuel storage, distribution, marine bunkering and aviation fuel, along with a network of retail fuel stations. The group has over 7 million cubic metres of storage capacity worldwide, and provides fuelling services at 48 airports and has 2,260 retail sites. Moore Stephens Guatemala has worked with the group for the past 15 years, including helping to ensure compliance with local taxation. Moore Stephens provided expertise to assist the group during tax audits, and as a result helped to recover a significant amount of tax credits. Moore Stephens Guatemala also helped to improve tax planning and structuring for the company, to provide a more efficient arrangement for the future. In addition to the taxation advisory services provided, Moore Stephens Guatemala assisted the company in two mergers, and have advised them on their transfer pricing policies for all their Central American subsidiaries. Moore Stephens have been appointed as the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) independent administrator for over 20 countries worldwide, including the UK. A world-leading company in offshore deep water drilling appointed Moore Stephens LLP to undertake statutory accounts preparation and audit for a number of their UK subsidiaries, with operating assets involved in projects across the world. Moore Stephens were appointed because of our unrivalled knowledge and credentials across the oil & gas, shipping and offshore maritime sectors. The company benefited from a strong and productive business relationship with an audit firm specialised in their area. This included providing bespoke accounting seminars, keeping the company well-informed of UK and US financial reporting updates and regulatory changes affecting the offshore oil and gas sector, such as upcoming changes in the accounting treatment for leases. Ukraine Kazakhstan Moore Stephens CIS were engaged by one of the largest vertically integrated oil and gas companies in the world. The Russia-focused group has operations ranging from exploration and extraction of crude oil, to refining, marketing and distribution of oil products. The group requested Moore Stephens CIS to assist them in a review of the management and ownership structure of four oil terminals, located in Russia. By carrying out assessments with the management teams at the terminals, and utilising Moore Stephens expertise in international best practice, Moore Stephens CIS were able to present the group with two possible options for corporate and management restructuring. The assignment provided management with detailed information on which to base their decision about the future of the terminals. This played a key part in the overall restructuring of the group to ensure the most efficient operational and reporting configuration. 3 Oil & Gas Oil & Gas 4

Corporate finance Our Corporate Finance team has built a reputation for providing a tailored service that meets our clients specific requirements, whilst recognising the importance of our clients not losing autonomy or control of a project. Our experience includes advising clients on the structuring and funding of ventures, raising finance, mergers, acquisitions and disposals including identifying acquisition targets or purchasers, due diligence investigations, advising on IPOs and bond issues, valuations, assisting with negotiations and dispute and litigation support. Restructuring and insolvency We apply our commercial understanding to all situations, seeking to find cost-effective solutions and maximise returns to lenders. Our first priority is business rescue. When consulted early, we have the maximum opportunity to save a business in financial distress and protect the assets of lenders, creditors and equity providers. We aim to rescue the entire business or its profitable activities, and enhance value to stakeholders, of which there are many different types with valid but potentially competing interests. Transaction support Moore Stephens has substantial experience in acting as Reporting Accountants on flotations. The London team has acted on many high profile initial or secondary public offerings and class circulars for fully listed or AIM clients, including a significant number in the natural resources sector.
