3 FUSION ACCOUNTING HUB REPORTING CLOUD SERVICE Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub Reporting Cloud Service (FAH Reporting Cloud Service) provides Oracle R12 E- Business Suite customers and non-oracle customers with exceptional reporting and analytics on top of their existing general ledger systems with minimal implementation effort and without disruption to their current financial management processes. What makes the reporting platform unique is its embedded multi-dimensional data model that leverages Oracle Essbase, the market leading online analytical processing (OLAP) server. The purpose of embedding the Essbase cube within this reporting platform is twofold: First, it allows you to store large quantities of data in a way that can be accessed rapidly. Second, it allows you to run financial statements that are both boardroom ready and highly interactive. You can embed charts and graphs and drill down on any level of your hierarchy for immediate decision support. Customers can continue to use their current financial processes for day-to-day operational accounting, and then use FAH Reporting Cloud Service for their corporate reporting and analysis. The tight integration with Oracle R12 E-Business Suite continuously streams balances from its general ledgers to the FAH Reporting Cloud Service general ledger, ensuring reports are always based on the latest numbers with complete drill down support to the E- Business Suite detail balances, journal lines and subledger transactions. Setup data from Oracle R12 E-Business Suite is automatically synchronized with FAH Reporting Cloud Service, eliminating the need for customers to perform additional set up, configuration, or costly integrations. And because it is available on the Cloud, customers can eliminate expensive hardware, system management, and IT costs. FAH Reporting Cloud Service includes the following features: Oracle Fusion Financial Reporting Center: The Oracle Fusion Financial Reporting Center provides a single point of access to securely distribute live and pre-published financial reports for self-service access. Users can access any report they are authorized to view with the ability to perform multi-dimensional analysis and drill down from any of the live reports. It also includes the following features: o General Accounting Dashboard that tells users exactly what to do, where to go, and who to contact as soon as they log into the application. The dashboard tracks the status of selfmonitoring processes to help users quickly resolve exceptions, garner approvals and focus on analyzing results. o Account Monitor allows accountants and managers to actively perform accounting monitoring of specific account balances in real-time to quickly react to anomalies and influence future outcomes. For example, if a particular expense account increases by more than 10% or a cash account falls below a certain threshold, the system will immediately highlight that exception so users can take immediate action. o Account Inspector allows financial analysts and accountants to quickly perform ad hoc ledger queries, multi-dimensional analysis, pivoting, and drill down all within a web page. Any changes you make to your query criteria are instantaneously refreshed to ensure you are working with the most up-to-date information to make the most informed decisions. o Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting (FR) Studio offers a robust financial report writer to create boardroom-ready financial statements without the need for IT involvement. All reports support multiple output options and can be exported to MS Word and PowerPoint where they can be instantly refreshed from those desktop products. o Oracle Hyperion Smart View allows accountants and analysts to perform ad hoc balance queries within a familiar MS Excel spreadsheet environment. Financial Analysts love this because 3

4 they can interactively investigate, slice and dice data, and also drill down to the originating transaction directly from the spreadsheet. Hyperion Calculation Manager allows you to design, validate, deploy and administer sophisticated calculations in a graphical environment. And because the Calculation Manager uses the same multidimensional balances embedded in FAH Reporting Cloud Service, you can be assured that the basis of your allocation formulas will always be accurate and current. SIMPLIFIED USER INTERFACE FOR MOBILE FINANCIAL REPORTING CENTER Gain real-time visibility to financial reports and actively perform account monitoring anytime and anywhere with Mobile Financial Reporting Center. The simplified interface for mobile support makes it easy to access information from your tablet or desktop, empowering your executives, managers, controllers, accountants, and analysts to quickly access all financial results. The Mobile Financial Reporting Center leverages the Essbase cube to support multidimensional analysis and reporting capabilities. The robust integration with Oracle Social Network opens up communications and promotes teamwork during the financial reporting review process. Additionally, the new Sunburst visualization tool allows you to interact with your account balances across various business dimensions to view balances from different perspectives. For example, you can view quarterly regional sales and identify sales trends that are visually represented by size and color to indicate whether that region's sales increased or decreased over the quarter. ENHANCED TRIAL BALANCE AND JOURNALS REPORTS Get better information from standard Oracle Fusion General Ledger reports, such as the trial balance and journals reports, that now support a broader range of run-time options to meet different reporting requirements. Trial balance reports can be run in summary mode to reflect the natural account hierarchy. Journal reports now show additional details regarding account balances and account activity by providing totals by accounting sequences and reporting sequences to better meet country-specific and auditing requirements. 4
