Topic and particularities: Voice input of desired flight route, destination, city, region and POI. Finds the cheapest flight in the given date range. Currently still in beta test status and not yet available in the skill store. My tasks and responsibilities: Conception and development of the skill and the relevant web services with connection to the live backend. Test automation (2017) Goal: Quality-uplift in software releases. Early detection of maintenance bugs. Reduction of manual test efforts. Topic and particularities: Self-developed in Ruby on Rails on Linux. Flexibly extendable backend for definition, setup and maintaining the test cases. Result reports incl. all relevant KPIs and screenshots. My tasks and responsibilities: Sponsor und service designer. Adaption of team roles regarding new tasks based the automation management.

7 PROJECT EXAMPLES (2/7) Customer and prospect database (2016) Goal: Unification of customer- and user data from different data sources into a central customer database. Single customer view. Topic and particularities: Self development for maximising flexibility and performance, regarding individual business processes. My tasks and responsibilities: Process definition for data exchange into and out of the customer database. Enrichment of user profiles with google analytics data. Segmentation. Personalisation of the website based on the individual customer data. Service mailing process ( und 2015) Goal: Customer relation and turnover generation by developing a 360 customer lifecycle ing process incl. relevant services and up-sell options. Topic and particularities: Connecting multiple heterogene data sources and systems. Personalised up-sell offers. My tasks and responsibilities: Concept, design and development as well as ongoing enhancement (e.g. optimisation for mobile devices) like by regular A/B tests, KPI-analysis and re-modelling. Guaranteeing all relevant, automated processes e.g. datageneration and -transfer as well as send-out processes and reporting.

8 PROJECT EXAMPLES (3/7) Web Check-in ( ) Goal: Development of a Web Check-in service for TUIfly flight via desktop and mobile incl. native boarding passes for ios und Android. Topic and particularities: Check-in ability 30 days prior departure. International rollout of the application and the attached processes. Corporate usage of central boarding pass service from different applications. Integration in the My TUI App. My tasks and responsibilities: International project steering. Conceptual and processual creation of possible solutions. Test and selection of different semi-functional prototypes. User- and crowd tests. Service provider steering. Development, international roll out and permanent optimisation regarding usability as well as up-selling of special services like baggage, seats, meals and insurances.

9 PROJECT EXAMPLES (4/7) Flight data cache ( ) Goal: Revolutionize the selectable options and the performance within the flight search. Topic and particularities: Properties not restricted to single flight routes but soft criteria. E.g. Flight from northern Germany to all mediterranean destinations between may and august 2018 with one week stay. Flight results from millions of flight records within milliseconds. Winner of the Navitaire Innovation Award 2015 in Salt Lake City UT. My tasks and responsibilities: Creation of strategic relevant use cases. Definition of technical solutions. coordination of development between internal IT, responsible stakeholders and external service providers. Optimisation and broadening of use cases in different areas of the website und the performance marketing.

Topic and particularities: Usage of customer data for comparing abandoners with opt-ins from the marketing system (regarding privacy guidelines). Frequency capping within the whole marketing system. My tasks and responsibilities: Project steering. Service providerand system acquisition. Conception and realisation of the analytics integration, backend processes and templates up to automated send-out, KPI-tracking ans reporting.

11 PROJECT EXAMPLES (6/7) Strategic realignment of TUIfly.com's business model ( ) Goals: Strategic realignment of TUIfly.com from TUIfly s single-airline website to a multi-airline flight portal. Topic and particularities: Broadening the product portfolio by integrating multiple airlines in TUIfly.com's flight booking process and creating the ability to combine different airlines in one booking record. Conceptual and processual challenge: Integrating Lufthansa. Connection of two fundamental different flight-steering approaches (return- and one-wayapproach). My tasks and responsibilities: Defining the strategic direction of the website TUIfly.com and conceptual integration design as well as combinability within the flight search and selection.
