OPEN HOUSE An open house will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 and Wednesday, February 14, 2018 for sub-contractors, from 3:30 pm until 5:00 pm. Sub-contractors should choose which school they would like to visit. Someone from HMK Company will be at each location. Roofers should bring ladders. QUESTIONS AND CLARIFICATIONS Question: Answer: Question: What percentage of area should we allow for ceiling tile replacement? Please plan on providing 2% of ceiling area for new tile as needed to repair/replace damaged tile. Specification Section contains several inconsistencies with existing project conditions & sheet note directives. Please clarify: Is it the intent of the projects to replace the existing fire alarm systems throughout the schools, or to reconfigure existing systems to meet new project requirements? Answer: ATTACHED Pre-Bid Sign-in Sheet END OF ADDENDUM 1 The overall intent is to reuse existing fire alarm systems at each school, so if for example, Silent Knight is the existing system in place, all new devices should be Silent Knight to match and use with the existing system.
