2 HaynesPro WorkshopData offers the perfect solution, enabling the professional mechanic to diagnose, maintain and repair modern vehicles. HaynesPro has categorised WorkshopData under seven main headings: Maintenance, Engine, Transmission, Steering & Suspension, Brakes, Exterior/interior and Electronics. For each of these categories we have included where appropriate the following data sets: Adjustment Data, Technical Drawings, Fuses & Relays, Manuals & Procedures, Repair Times, Wiring Diagrams and Diagnostics. An extra tab containing Recalls, TSBs and Cases becomes active whenever this type of essential information is available for the selected vehicle. Adjustment data Technical drawings SmartLINKS SmartLINKS have been added to WorkshopData at different levels. These intelligent shortcuts allow users to jump to related information. SmartLINKS form an integral part of our database, and can be used in stand-alone as well as integrated solutions.

Some are optional (See Optional Modules) while others are part of the application. Our new cost estimation tool, OrganiserXpress, creates a quick overview of repair and maintenance times, and a parts list. ORGANISER Xpress SmartCART, our virtual shopping basket, creates an effective link between all parts-related information in Smart CART WorkshopData and your online parts catalogue, diagnostic tool or ERP system. *For more detailed information, refer to the individual product folders.

4 Data exchange services When it comes to web services, we lead the field. If you are looking for a technical data supplier with a proven track record in data integration, look no further. No data too small Recent improvements in our database structure allow us to include even the smallest data set in our data exchange services. To accomplish this, we are in the process of transforming text to values, extending the range of calculation options. Data integration and linking Most of our customers enrich their parts catalogues by adding data on service intervals and repair times via web services. Manufacturers of diagnostic and testing equipment have adopted a similar approach by linking VESA to their tester at both system and fault code level. We work closely with our customers to arrive at a workable, efficient solution. We offer several integration options, ranging from simple portal-to-portal links to complete integration of our technical data within your online medium. 5 VESA - Your own electronics assistant! The Vehicle Electronics Smart Assistant VESA for short - is a unique electronics diagnostic tool. Using data retrieved from the vehicle s CAN-Bus system, VESA helps users to diagnose system and component errors. The module, which benefits from intelligent, step-by-step diagnostics, generates local component diagrams from a net list and automatically shows the relationships between sensors, actuators and processors on the CAN-Bus overview. * *Please refer to our detailed VESA brochure VESA Where data is just the beginning VESA offers much more than other electronics modules on the market. 6 Optional Modules Repair Times Our repair times module contains detailed descriptions of all servicing and repair work, including standard labour times. The module specifies individual repair items and calculates their cost. As it takes account of follow-up as well as additional work, no labour items are overlooked - either in the cost specification or the invoice. In turn, this helps to maximise workshop revenue. To complete the picture, intelligent links to our maintenance data & service times module allow users to generate a detailed cost estimate in just minutes. Comfort Wiring Diagrams The comfort wiring diagrams module includes diagrams on a range of electronic systems, including climate control, radio, door locks, power windows, security, ABS and instrument cluster control to name but a few. All diagrams use standard symbols, are available as fullcolour vector graphics, and are easily printable. We currently offer the most comprehensive set of wiring diagrams on the market. Many of our customers have already included this module in their HaynesPro WorkshopData solution. Workshop Organiser With Workshop Organiser we offer a simple management tool for creating detailed work orders linked to a customer and vehicle database; calendar planning, and integration with your parts catalogue. 7 SmartFIX SmartFIX contains both Smart Technical Service Bulletins FIX (TSBs) and recall data, keeping users informed of manufacturer recommended servicing and maintenance work. The bulletins contain checklists of items requiring inspection or repair. They also specify the required replacement parts and labour times. By offering essential manufacturer data, SmartFIX is the perfect complement to our HaynesPro WorkshopData technical database. SmartCASE SmartCASE, which is our new case-based technical database, offers ready-to-use solutions to known problems encountered by garages and details their verified fixes. The database is based on actual workshop experience and real, proven solutions. Smart CASE A case is composed of the following components A description of the problem, including make, model, type and possibly fault code or related problem area.
