10 Maximo-SDM Maximo-SDM (Services Data Manager): Core Maximo Asset Configuration Manager Service Provider Scheduler Implemented in 2009 Upgraded to 7.5 in October 2013 Primarily used for Asset(CM) and Event Management(CM) Expanding into other areas of Maximo

11 Why we implemented Maximo Service data scattered in multiple databases, many are custom developed, propagating redundant and inconsistent data making it difficult to access and effectively retrieve information. Redundant databases typically have their own 'version of the truth due to inconsistencies across the databases Standardization is a key enabler for resolving challenges as a result of the evolution and inconsistencies in data. Organizations need to enable users to make the best decisions and act on them quickly.. Single data source would free up time to allow the business to work on other initiatives to increase engine reliability and reduce cost enter once use multiple times
