2 Foreword Qorus Software has grown from a small idea back in 2008 to a global business providing based document automation solutions to some of the largest companies in the world. New legislation brought into South Africa in 2007 forced banks and retailers engaged in consumer lending to generate a significant amount of additional documentation. Early versions of Qorus solutions assisted these companies in meeting these demands by automating the creation of these documents. The need for a greater number of personalized, complex and regulated documents has escalated dramatically since then. New international laws driven by the last decade s economic downturn and high profile fraud cases have burdened businesses with an ever growing obligation to create more documents. To add to this burden, consumers and businesses now demand a more personalized, tailored experience when engaging with companies. This experience has to be directly reflected in the documents that are created. has continued its explosive growth and now dominates the enterprise content management landscape globally. It has become the defacto platform in which organizations store, manage and collaborate on just about all business documents.
