1 GHS Label Printing - easy to implement - at low cost - with SAP LabelPrintCockpit In the context of our comprehensive EH&S and REACh portfolio, Atos Origin Germany ( and ebsoft ( offer a solution for the immediate, quick and error-free creation of labels for hazardous materials, dangerous goods, product and logistics: as single labels or a combined label, following the currently applicable EU regulations or the new GHS ordinance. Atos Origin Germany and ebsoft have agreed on a strategic partnership to optimize their product portfolio by leveraging the strengths of each company. This partnership has resulted in a pre-configured solution SAP LabelPrintCockpit that can be implemented quickly and at a competitive price. The SAP LabelPrintCockpit Solution Package provides the following advantages: Flexibility: The solution can be easily adapted to customer s individual requirements and business processes. The cost-efficient creation of special labels with standardized formats is equally possible. Integration: Almost full-fledged process automation, data management is centralized in the SAP ERP and EH&S system (also in combination with managed regulatory content). Standardization: As for the central data management, a consistent data status for MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), labels and all other regulatory documents is safeguarded. Security: The underlying data basis allows best possible labelling reliability. The LabelPrintCockpit has been specifically created for the needs of the manufacturing industry and reflects our experience from a multitude of customer projects. Rapid Utilization: The software can be quickly implemented and is, if required, also operational in the company s intranet or the internet. Benefits for our customers: Reliable, pre-customized software solution Rapid implementation at competitive cost ROI quickly achieved Flexible concepts for maintenance and support at reasonable cost Safeguarding compliance and risk minimization through conformity with GHS, REACH and other regulations Label printing certified according to British Standard BS5609, Section 3 System Attributes: Direct use of data from SAP SD, MM, PP-PI and EH&S, as well as other databases like Oracle Provision of data used on hazardous goods and dangerous goods labels in over 30 languages in Unicode

2 For the current EU legal ordinance: e. g. R-/S-Phrases, additional texts, symbols For the GHS legal ordinance: e. g. H-/P-phrases, additional texts, symbols For dangerous goods labelling: for example, proper shipping names, symbols for ADR, IMG, IATA Automatic label generation in the required languages For more information about the solution please visit us on Hall 9, Stand or have a look at SAP ecohub or contact heinz.doennebrink@atosorigin.com Atos Origin is a leading international information technology (IT) services company, providing hi-tech transactional services, consulting, systems integration and managed operations to deliver business outcomes globally. Atos Origin is quoted on the Paris Eurolist Market and trades as Atos Origin, Atos Worldline and Atos Consulting. ebsoft developes and distributes for more than 25 years programs and systems for the electronic marking of products, packaging, palettes etc. as well as for barcode markings and processing. For the complex requirements in the chemical industry the standard program became extended, so that packing and dispatch units of chemical products can be indicated, just in time, with every required product, hazardous materials dangerous goods and barcode information in all required national languages. The Web-based ebsoft logistic system can be integrated easily into existing logitic processes and can be used as a stand-alone, client-server system, printserver or as a web system. Program modules: M1: Mask generator M2: Graphical layout editor V6, creates labels and forms on screen (WYSIWYG) stores the layouts in XML-format in the data base. To each data field a calculating operation can be assigned. Printer specific parameters are stored in the data base and processed accordingly while readout. If necessary, layouts can be divided into different layers. So that all printer types (Laser printer, BW/Color, Thermal transfer printers) can be controlled with one layout. M3: Programgenerator(M3): With built-in program rules, the label program can be adapted easily to customer requirements without programming. It also contains a barcode generator (1Dimension, 2D and RFID, Radio Frequency Identification ) Calculating operations per data field are possible. Additional program enhancements are created in Java. M4: SQL Database standard Oracle or MS SQL data base is used, other databases are available on request. Data for labeling in over 30 languages can be stored In the data base all important data necessarily for the marking are stored. (Data of material, hazard information, symbols, layouts, programs, input masks etc.) In the standard all data are processed in Unicode, prompting is multinational The programs and extensions are administered in the data base. Versionalization and archiving is possible (optional). Changing master data, modification of rules and layouts are archived. M5: Modul 5: eb application Server connects the programm modules and translates xml to html for the clients.the application server is for Intranet and Internet. It communicates with all assigned program modules and controls the data traffic between the individual modules.

3 The eb-web system can be used as: Standalone System Client Server System in intranet or internet M 6: eb Spool-System: The ebspool-system with Java-Script-controller is an independent working ebsoft program. It communicates with the respective application. Once formatted XML files received, the output files for lables and print forms for the relative printer will be generated automatically and promptly. An integrated Java Script -Controller controls the print process during the print preparation for example: Numbering short before printing, calculate check-digits, check print-outputs, query signal by dispensers, take over process data, and so on. Output advance in case of thermal transfer printers (Zebra or similar). The ebspool-system prepares print-jobs with particular print-commands for the deployed printer, and communicates directly to the printer, this leads to significant performance increase in case of numbering and changing contents (EAN 128). ebspooladministration: Since several ebspooler could work independently at the same time on one print server, the preparation and response times for the printer output could be considerably increased. Over the ebspooler administration, an appointed ebspooler is assigned to the printers working in the network. Archiving of the output: if required, the output can be archived and the print results can be reported. M 7: ebprinter-driver: In case of thermal transfer printers, ebsoft provides especially for various printer-types developed printer-driver, which are controlled in a special mode during use of numbering, dispensers etc., so that the print-speed increases. (Printer Types on request) M 8: ebwindows-printer-driver: In general, ebsoft supports all Windows printer drivers. Which are approved by Microsoft. M 9: ebwindows-browser: The ebsoft program, with embedded internet explorer, will be adjusted to the respective ebsoft application. The interactive notice-release works asynchronous and can be configured according to the given safety settings, and can be used as input mask either in intranet or in internet. M 10: eb Interface-Modul: ebsoft provides a great number of interfaces to ERP-Systems (PPS SCM ERP CRM WMS LVS) such as SAP R3, MySAP, DIBAC, Kisters, Navision, Scales, Process-Control-systems, Scanners etc. a simple integration of the ebsoft-system is made possible. The standard includes: Data interface with fixed or variable record length XML interface IDOC interface Database interface CSV interface Scale interfaces SPS- interfaces Interfaces to bar-code-scanner-systems The transmission of data can be carried out as following: TCP /IP Filetransfer Database RFC of SAP MQ Series from IBM WEB and so on

If required all operations can be archived. The label-printing action will be triggered by the present EDV-System, such as SAP R3, EH&S, DIBAC, Navision, Barcode system etc. The ERP-System starts the print job by means of production-storage-order or customer assignment. In case of a multiple assigned printer with high print volume, more than one ebspool-system can be applied parallel.
