Presenter: Håkan Andersson SmartPlant 3D is a forward-looking product that is changing the way plants are engineered and designed. It breaks through the constraints imposed by traditional plant modelling software and design technology. Rather than simply focusing on achieving design, SmartPlant 3D effectively enables optimised design, increasing productivity and shortening project schedules. An overview about why Intergraph developed SmartPlant 3D, and an overview over the high-level business benefits. Before we start using SmartPlant 3D some engineering will be done using the SmartPlant Schematic tools.
