Presenter: Håkan Andersson SmartPlant 3D is a forward-looking product that is changing the way plants are engineered and designed. It breaks through the constraints imposed by traditional plant modelling software and design technology. Rather than simply focusing on achieving design, SmartPlant 3D effectively enables optimised design, increasing productivity and shortening project schedules. An overview about why Intergraph developed SmartPlant 3D, and an overview over the high-level business benefits. Before we start using SmartPlant 3D some engineering will be done using the SmartPlant Schematic tools. Through the SmartPlant Enterprise interfaces integration will be shown with SmartPlant P&ID, Electrical, Instrumentation and Materials. - Management of change will be demonstrated over the different disciplines. - Drawing generation like layouts and isometric drawings will be demonstrated - Work share will be shown to demonstrate global concurrent engineering SmartPlant Layout is Intergraph s solution for preliminary 3D plant layout, including proposal development, early design estimates, and plant layout optimization. SmartPlant Layout based on Intergraph s next-generation 3D plant software, SmartPlant 3D, is a standalone product extending the SmartPlant Enterprise suite through the addition of tools for automatic pipe routing, layout case management, and cost estimation.
