1 Peter Flagg Contact information: Project Strategies Successful Outcomes for Projects and Clients Mr. Flagg is an Information Management and Organization Engineering consultant and project director. He has successfully led multi-million dollar, multi-year IT projects and initiatives. He has assisted clients in developing strategic business and information technology (IT) plans, business cases, proposals and submissions for executive and treasury boards and high government levels, implementation plans for large projects, and in developing project options, opportunities and feasibility studies. He has provided mediation services to troubled IT projects and contracts. He routinely acts as a facilitator for stakeholder groups, Boards and Executive Committees in the development of Strategic Business and IT Plans, and helping executive level stakeholders resolve contentious issues, and more recently provides strategic negotiation and mediation services for organizations dealing with large IT implementations and initiatives. He is past president of the Canadian Information Processing Society in Victoria, British Columbia, From Mr. Flagg was contracted as the General Manager of the Integrated Cadastral Information Society (ICIS), and has been credited for the resurgence of that initiative. He has just completed a three-year assignment as the Project Manager for a national on-line education and training service in the Real Estate Industry in Canada (REvia). Communicating and facilitating the Governance Committee meetings, stakeholder groups, strategic direction and planning, hiring and executing contracts for education and technology services, estimating and planning system migration and upgrade costs, communications, legal and accounting services and overseeing all operations. Oversaw organization change management requirements from merger of two initiatives, using PROSCI Change Management Toolkit. 2015: facilitator and consultant for the development a new Strategic Plan for the Real Estate Council of BC, conducted stakeholder reviews and assessments : Project Manager on a larger feasibility study and Business Case ($5M) to determine the potential for establishing a Virtual College to deliver on-line training and education offerings for the real estate industry in the country. Achievements: The project completed a feasibility study in July 2012 with a conference in Ottawa after extensive stakeholder group consultations: on-schedule, under budget and with all 2

3 scope expectations met. Research, Legal, IT cost estimates, and Governance consultants were contracted and managed within budget and scope expectations by the Project Manager. (June 2011 July 2012) : Lead Consultant and Facilitator to develop the 2011 Strategic Plan for the Real Estate Council of BC, including updates in 2012 and final review and conclusion in : Modernization Consultant for Make Technologies on a project to develop a Strategic Modernization Roadmap (SMR) for a fortune 500 company in the United States. Achievements: the SMR has been accepted and pilot work has commenced. 2010: Consulting Project Advisor on a large RFP for a Voter Registration System for the State of Georgia. Achievements: Complex functional, technical, system administration, financial and vendor qualifications requirements were consolidated for state stakeholder group review within required timeframe : Project Manager: MS Navision Implementation ($1M): Tides Foundation of Canada (April 2009 January 2010): Project manager brought on to settle a contractual conflict between a VAR of MS Navision and Serenic granting software and a large, recognized non-profit Foundation. Introduced a rigorous User Acceptance Test methodology to the application stakeholder groups, led development of test scripts and system testing, developed data and process models, training approach, release management, executive reporting tool and decision analysis framework. Achievements: triaged successful technical acceptance of the application by the client, sourced and introduced new support vendor to the client. 2009: Content Specialist for GIS Security analysis for GeoBC (Jan Mar 2009), review and assessment of GIS costs, interview and assess stakeholder group requirements : As General Manager of the Integrated Cadastral Information Society ICIS), ( )($1M/yr) : managed stakeholder analysis and reformed financial and management reporting to the board of directors, managed staff and key contractors dealing with GIS training and spatial data loading and integration, led creation of new legal agreements for data sharing, led internal projects and development of programs for GIS enhancement among local governments in B.C. Achievements: Doubled funding, tripled available data, expanded membership, resolved key legal issues regarding data ownership : Project Manager for the implementation of a three year Information Systems Plan (ISP) and Valuation System for BC Assessment Authority , a $14M initiative including implementation of a new property assessment system. Achievements: Large, complex IT project was delivered on-time, on specification and within financial estimates. Legal contracting issues were resolved during development. ( ) : Project lead and consultant for the creation of a strategic business plan for a leading BC retail grocery chain. The strategic plan created won 100% (20/20) assessment by the Deloitte-Touche ranking of Canadian businesses for strategic planning, and the company was selected as one of the 50-best-managed companies in the country. Achievements: Mr. Flagg was selected as the company s supplier of the year for his contribution to the project management culture and strategic planning. 3
