7 INTEGRATED CAD/CAM Alphacam is a completely integrated CAD/CAM software solution with advanced features. It is designed to offer your business enhanced productivity, exceptional reliability and additional flexibility. Alphacam also offers you the latest front end CAD part modelling facilities via our solid modeller. Additional Products Alphacam for Editing, a multi-window text editor specifically designed for NC programmers, is included with every Alphacam module. It offers standard text editor features as well as NC specific features such as line re-numbering and program comparison. It can be used to print out operator sheets for the workshop, showing the operation list with types, tools and cycle times which are automatically generated by all Alphacam modules. Alphacam for iewing has been specifically designed for use on the shop floor and allows machine tool operators to have some control over the NC program output to the machine tool. Now an engineer has the ability to simulate and edit existing Alphacam programs, such as toolpaths, tool numbers, speeds and feeds, without the need to interrupt your programming team with minor modifications to the NC code. Alphacam for CAD creation offers full function 2D and 3D features for fast creation of machine suitable geometries Alphacam is available in the following modules: Alphacam Standard Router Standard router is the ideal product for wood shops and subcontractors and offers an excellent solution for the joinery, shop-fitting and point-to-point panel processing industries. Alphacam Advanced Router Advanced router offers all the functionality of the standard package with additional support for nested-based manufacturing and complex aggregate routing. Alphacam Advanced 3D 3-Axis Router Alphacam Advanced 3D 3-Axis Router is targeted at the manufacturer who works with complex, free-form patterns and tools. The module offers complex 3D machining strategies along with the functionality of the lower specification modules.
