4 What is synedra AIM? synedra AIM is a health content management platform, covering all specialties of healthcare facilities and managing their data. Modern healthcare facilities have multiple requirements with regard to their IT. The patients and their data are always at the center of attention though, regardless of where the data have been created and regardless of their format. This is why we have conceived synedra AIM as a health content management platform (HCM) that encompasses all departments of a healthcare facility. 5 synedra View A Viewer as Versatile as Medicine synedra View is synedra s powerful and versatile viewer suitable for applications such as clinical image viewing and diagnostic imaging. Efficient display of all relevant data, including documents, images, DICOM data, videos and other multimedia objects, is complemented with an extensive set of image editing tools. PACS and Diagnostic Imaging Radiologists in particular benefit from the wide range of diagnostic tools, such as configurable hanging protocols, numerous measurement tools and display functions, MPR Compare as well as full DICOM support. Document, Image and Multimedia Data Viewing For the display of image and multimedia data outside the radiology department, synedra View can be closely integrated with the existing HIS. Useful additional tools further facilitate the multiple workflows of our non-radiological users, e.g., specialist tools for all relevant image data formats as well as a video player with streaming functionality. Optionally, synedra View enables healthcare facilities to configure an electronic patient record according to their needs, thus providing an ideal overview of all patient-related data. Archiving of All Data Types synedra View is not only suitable for data viewing and diagnostic imaging, but also allows its users to store all types of data from DICOM and video files to scanned medical records. synedra View Embedded is used to display images and other multimedia data in programs from other manufacturers. The workflows do not change for the users since synedra View Embedded enables the retrieval of their data without any noticeable change of application. However, synedra View Embedded is also available as a fast and efficient standalone viewer.

6 synedra View Professional synedra s Standalone Viewer synedra View Professional is a mighty and intuitive viewer specifically developed to fit the needs of GPs and medical specialists, but also of bigger healthcare facilities. synedra View Professional can be used in multiple ways. Furthermore, the program is suitable for diagnostic imaging. For non-commercial and non-medical purposes, you can download our free DICOM and multimedia viewer synedra View Personal. 7 synedra Web Your Mobile Access to Medical Images and Documents synedra Web enables users to quickly transfer medical documents and images to physicians outside of the hospital. Sharing documents for synedra Web only requires a few simple steps: A document is shared either manually or automatically via HL7. The recipient immediately gets an notification and can view the documents online on any mobile device or computer. To make this possible, synedra Web provides a web viewer equipped with image editing tools. Alternatively, the recipient can download the documents via a secure Internet connection and view them with synedra View Personal or synedra View Professional. When it comes to data transfer, priority is given to security and data protection aspects, which is why the transfer is encrypted. External shares are only created for individual user accounts and can be time-limited and canceled. To log in to the web portal you need a user name and a password. Moreover, synedra Web comes with full touch support and is optimized for use on mobile devices.

8 synedra Video Video Documentation in the OR synedra Video supports the typical workflows when it comes to capturing medical videos and images in an optimized way. From recording complete operations and acquiring motion sequences and still images during endoscopic examinations to documentation in ophthalmology and the integration of microscopes these are examples of workflows that can be organized more efficiently when using a video documentation solution. Patients and/or examinations can be selected with a mouse click, video recording is started and controlled, e. g., by means of a hand/foot switch on the endoscope. After the examination, data are immediately stored in synedra AIM. synedra Video supports the documentation of Full HD video signals and allows to capture still images and video sequences of various lengths. Moreover, synedra Video is optimized for use on touchscreen monitors, allowing also the simple retrieval and display of pre-examinations. synedra Video is available as a fully integrated solution with fully compatible hardware and software components or as a pure software solution. synedra Video Professional is our standalone solution providing the same functionality.

9 synedra Import Efficient Import of Images and Documents synedra Import is the customized solution for a simple, quick and secure import of your medical data into synedra AIM. synedra Import helps you carrying out the following workflows: PrintToPDF (creation of a digital copy as PDF), e. g., to archive a diagnostic report created in MS Word as PDF and optionally print out the digital copy ScanToDICOM (scanning and archiving), e. g., to archive scanned x-rays via a TWAIN interface Batch processing with the help of a customized user interface (high-volume scanning) Archiving of image and multimedia data as well as documents Depending on the specific requirements in your hospital, synedra Import provides different options to create an archiving context: worklist, patient search in synedra AIM, barcode scanner, HIS integration via an acquire Document call or manual entry. Furthermore, synedra Import supports electronic signatures by integrating signature software.

10 synedra Disk Import Box Quick and Easy Import of Patient CDs/DVDs For many healthcare facilities, the handling of patient CDs/DVDs containing image data presents a challenge in their daily routines. The images are relevant for the treatment process and must be made available to the attending physicians. The data import into the PACS is usually cumbersome and time-consuming. With the aim to make this workflow more efficient and more con- venient, synedra has developed a special product, i. e. the synedra Disk Import Box. The synedra Disk Import Box is a supplement to synedra AIM, allowing you to import DICOM CDs and DVDs quickly and conveniently. The strength of the solution lies in its simplicity: You insert the data carrier into the synedra Disk Import Box, everything else is done automatically.
