5 Program Utilization Key Takeaways HCV is working to confirm the YTD budget authority utilization 1 New Lease for HCV in May 2016 for a total of SFHA attended a VASH Accelerator aimed at improving utilization SFHA was awarded 63 new VASH vouchers effective August 1, 2016 SFHA is working closely with HUD to maximize voucher utilization and to fully implement the HUD Two Year Tool 5

7 PIC Reporting Key Takeaways 98% is the confirmed reporting rate for HCV programs for May PIC reporting numbers fluctuate monthly based on Voucher Management System (VMS) reported voucher utilization numbers HUD requires that the SFHA reporting rate be at 95% or higher. SFHA is anticipating that further fluctuations will occur with the PIC reporting rate as we continue to address backlog cases and reconcile records in Elite 7

9 Operational Updates Recertifications and Inspections Key Takeaways 91% is the confirmed Annual Recertification rate for May This is the first month in CY2016 that SFHA has reached STANDARD in this indicator. 89% is the confirmed Annual HQS Inspection rate for April Strategy that was implemented late February has yielded desired results, SFHA is going to continue with the implementation of this strategy till overdue cases are completed. Encountered software reporting error that prevented a larger impact in inspections. Work was completed but not sent to PIC. Should see a larger impact for June numbers. Leased Housing has cleared over 50% of the back logged recerts and inspections in the last 2 months and anticipates being caught up by August 1 st. 9

10 SEMAP Preliminary Report The projected SEMAP score as of 5/31/16 is 51.7%. 10

12 Section Eight Management Assessment Program (SEMAP) Key Takeaways The SFHA is monitoring SEMAP monthly. Indicator 4 and 5 are completed for the year VMS Executive Summary did not update as anticipated, reviewing budget authority utilization so we gave ourselves 0 points for Indicator 13 Indicator 2 scored 100% for internal QC Indicator 9 scored points for the first time in CY

13 Department Activities in Progress Department Activities Emphasis Elite Software Conversion: - Landlord Portal is set for testing environment, scheduling testing with 3 test landlords for mid June - Implementing edocs in the next 60 days - SFHA is working with Elite to upload census tract data to provide better data analysis of the rental market. Reexaminations: Staff are continuing to work on current recertifications while addressing the backlog to avoid any new overdue cases in PIC. RAD: - SFHA is on target for hitting 90%+ for July and August recertification submission - First RAD-PBV phase submitted for conversion to HAP set to go into effect by the end of June
