1 CHANGE WORKING GROUP March 15, 2018 Net Conference - Minutes- Agenda Items 1-3, Administrative Items Call to Order Carrie Dixon (Xcel Energy) called the meeting to order at 1:32 p.m. CPT. Attendance & Administrative Items Terry Rhoades (SPP) recorded attendance and confirmed quorum was met. See Appendix 1: Attendance. Review of Agenda Carrie Dixon reviewed the agenda with the group. There were no adjustments to the agenda. Agenda Item 4a, Consent Agenda For Consent Action (Approval Items) Carrie Dixon presented the item set for consent approval by the group. February 2018 CWG Meeting Minutes February 2018 meeting minutes were approved by the group. Agenda Items 5-10, Project Updates Markets Releases Raleigh Mohr (SPP) provided an update on Member-Facing/Impacting Markets releases. Markets Release 1.24 (Member Impacting) Target Production Date: 4/19/2018 with an effective date of 4/26/2018. MP Testing is 2/23/2018 through 4/3/2018. This release includes updates to address RR243 Mitigated Energy Offer for Regulation Deployment Adjustment Settlements and enhancements and defects. SPP is reviewing defects and enhancement requests for inclusion in the next Markets release Settlements Releases Catie Dial (SPP) provided an update on Member-Facing/Impacting Settlements releases. Market Settlements System Release 2.13 (Member-Impacting) Target Production Date: 4/19/2018 with member testing 2/22/2018 4/2/2018. This release includes RR222 MCR Configuration Identification, RR243 Mitigated Energy Offer for Regulation Deployment Adjustment Settlements, RR200 - Design Change for BSS and OCL Distribution and RR235 - Formula Correction related to RR200 Calculations and enhancements to the Settlements system. The effective date for RR200, RR235, RR222 and RR243 will be 5/1/2018. Transmission Settlements System Release 1.8 (Member-Impacting) Target Production Date: 5/8/2018. The release includes schedule 11 PTP 2a/2b split. Settlements System Replacement - This project will replace the current Market and Transmission Settlements systems and is targeting Production implementation in May The MIPO was posted on 2/27/2018 and the project planning phase is in progress with the expectation to include some member- facing/impacting enhancements. Any additional 1

2 information will be communicated on an ongoing basis through the Settlements User Group (SUG) as well as the CWG. TCR Releases Micha Bailey (SPP) provided an update on Member-Facing/Impacting TCR Releases. The TCR Raw file format has been affected by a separate project (Online VSAT). The changes will be in place starting 3/29/2018 and going forward with all Annual and Monthly RAW models. Member testing via GlobalScape in MTE is in progress as of 3/7/2018. TCR 3.1 (Member Impacting/Facing) Target Production Date is 8/28/2018 with member testing 7/15/2018 8/24/2018. This release includes RR203 Adding Second Step to Monthly ARR allocation, Historical LTCR Nominations and updates to address several defects. All MPs are requested to update their TCR Liaison s contact information prior to structured testing for the TCR 3.1 Release. Engineering Data Submittal Tool (EDST) Enhancements Eddie Watson (SPP) provided information on the Engineering Data Submittal Tool (EDST) Release 1.0. The release addresses enhancements to the Engineering Hub previously discussed with the CWG. The MIPO will be posted with additional information about the enhancements. Training will be provided for Model Development in April and Resource Adequacy in June. Submittal periods for year 2019 are MDWG Data Submittal: 8/ / 2019 and RA Data Submittal: 10/1/ /15/ Market Monitoring Portal Release Tom White (SPP) provided information on the Market Monitoring Portal Release Target Production Date: 4/12/2018. This release will address enhancements and corrections to the Market Monitoring Portal (MMP), which include several areas of functionality. Members will be able to review the changes in MTE during the member validation period from 3/19/2018 to 3/30/2018. Formal testing is not required. MCST/Citrix Upgrade Annette Holbert (SPP) provided introductory information on qn upcoming Citrix Upgrade impacting the Model Change Submission Tool (MCST) Target Production: 6/2018. This upgrade will be to the latest version of the XenApp application. Initial work is underway; the upgrade may result in visual and/or functional changes to the application. Pending further research, more information will be provided. Agenda Item 11-12, Staff Reports RRs with System/Process Impacts Kristen Darden (SPP) reviewed RRs with system/process impacts. RR252 OOME Enhancement RR259 Settlement Statements Timeline RR272 NDVER to DVER Conversion Training Update Becky Gifford (SPP) provided a Training update. 2

3 Lighting the Way: Integrated Marketplace Fundamentals will be held 9/24 9/25/2018. The 2018 Integrated Marketplace Symposium will be held 9/26 9/27. Training will communicate when registration will open for these events. Submit any and all suggestions regarding things you will like to learn to Agenda Items 13, Discussion Carrie Dixon opened the floor for nominations for the Vice chair position. Jodi Hall (KCPL) nominated herself as the CWG Vice-Chair and Ron Chartier (Sunflower Electric) seconded the nomination. The group unanimously approved Jodi Hall as the CWG Vice-Chair. Agenda Items 14-20, Written Reports The group was given the opportunity to provide feedback, ask questions, and/or discuss information provided in the written reports. 14. CROW Release 15. May 16, AEP, 1:00 6:00 FYI: The August meeting will be a Net Conference on 8/16/2018 from 1:30 to 5:00 instead of a face-to-face meeting on 8/15/2018, as previously scheduled. Agenda Item 26, Meeting Effectiveness Survey March Survey The March Effectiveness Survey was provided for meeting attendees to complete. 3
