2 Overview To augment our LINK Learning program of scheduled group training, webinars and tutorials, a new has been created which allows customers to utilize their production contracts and recent data in a self training region. Customers can access this region ( using their production user id and password. Once logged in, access rights will mirror that of production unless modified by their Local Security Administrator. The region can be used to safely perform self training, what-if analysis, and business testing using a majority of LINK functionality. This functionality includes security, nominations (including scheduling priority generation), confirmations, flowing gas, and capacity release. This tutorial will discuss how often security and customer data is refreshed, how often nomination and allocation batch jobs are executed, how meters are configured and what actions need assistance from LINK personnel. 2

3 Specifications Security and Customer Data All customer data (with the exception of agencies and affiliations) present in the LINK Learning region will be copied from the LINK Production environment on a weekly basis. This weekly update will be performed each Sunday morning between 2:00 AM and 8:00 AM CCT. Therefore, any customer data (user ids, access rights assigned nominations, confirmations, allocations, capacity releases, etc.) created in the learning region will be deleted as part of the weekly update. When creating a test user for an employee, the password the LSA creates for the user will be the one they use to login unless they use the Password Self Service enhancement to change it Agency and Affiliation information present in the LINK Learning region will be copied from the LINK Production environment on a daily basis at 4:30 AM CCT. This will remove any changes made in the learning region from the previous 24 hours. Should customers accidentally enter data in the training region that was intended for production, Enbridge is not liable for the error. It is the responsibility of customers to update the production environment with the needed data. 3

4 Specifications Batch Processes All timely and hourly batch validation processes will execute on the same schedule as production except during the weekend. During the weekend, these processes will stop running on Friday night at Midnight and will restart on Monday around 8AM CCT. Measurement will be transferred from Production to the learning region at 11:30 AM CCT on a daily basis Allocation and Balancing will begin at 1:00 PM CST and should be completed for all business units by 3:00 PM CST. 4

5 Specifications Subscriptions, s, Reports, Meters All types of customer notifications including report subscriptions, notifications, informational postings, batch job cut s, etc. will not be executed in the LINK Learning database region. Only reports will be sent via when specifically requested and submitted by customers. Reports will contain a watermark to notify the customer that the report is being accessed via the Link Learning training region. All physical meters have been set to auto-confirm to automate the confirmation process. Measurement Report Center, Order 698 Power Plant Profile, and Current Customer Usage will also not be included in the LINK Learning database region. 5
