Request for Quotation New Website Development Company Background CNC Robotics are the UK s leading robotics integration company specialising in advanced robotics systems for machining. CNC Robotics is one of the UK s top 250 companies for growth and innovation. CNC Robotics have specialised in bespoke automated robotic solutions for clients both in the UK and globally, the sectors range from creative, architectural, renewals, marine, construction and general manufacturing. UK Robotics Landscape: The Government have issued their Industrial Strategy paper outlining the aims for transforming the UK into one of the most competitive places in the world to start or grow a business and the focus is on improving UK productivity through digital technologies. Many small to medium manufacturers don t require a vast automation system. The nature of their business is high tech, small volume with fast turn-around times. A large investment and setup costs for programming a bespoke robot system often makes the cost prohibitive. As a consequence, they are forced to stick to manual processes as they can t find a compact, cheap automated system, remaining profitable in a global market therefore remains challenging. CNC Robotics: CNC Robotics is pioneering the use of robotics to improve the productivity of manufacturing across the UK and overseas. The business was set up in 2010 when the owner, Jason Barker, spotted a niche in the market during his search for a low cost CNC Machining solution. He recognised the potential of using robots as milling machines and went on to develop a robotic system. This was adapted for other markets also needing a cost-effective tool that could be integrated into their wider production process. Having the vision and ability to demonstrably show what could be achieved with robots over traditional methods, has meant CNC Robotics have been key in transforming the productivity and performance of many companies. Our customer base is wide ranging from marine, aerospace, renewables, architectural, fashion and construction. The needs of each of our clients is unique and relevant to their specific business and production model, what unites them all is they have identified a need to create a competitive edge and to stand apart from similar manufacturers within their sector. Our determination to find solutions to the most challenging of manufacturing

problems, has meant the demand for our skills is now worldwide, with year upon year growth in both domestic and international sales. Our unique approach by being the external R&D resource for our clients, means that we solve production challenges and invent new processes as part of our holistic strategic offering. This approach, coupled with the team s expertise and passion makes us the market leaders in robotic integration. We develop systems for every manufacturing process you can imagine cutting, drilling, gluing, lifting, milling, packing, painting, picking, placing, printing, sorting, trimming and welding to name just a few! CNC Robotics are looking to develop a new website to promote its core service as the UK s market leading integrator of advanced robotics systems for machining. CNC Robotics are at the cutting edge of bespoke technology for manufacturers looking to increase productivity and efficiencies in their business have clients across the UK and have year upon year growth in overseas sales. Multi3 (pronounced multi-cube) Many small to medium manufacturers don t require a vast automation system. The nature of their business is high tech, small volume with fast turn-around times. A large investment and setup costs for programming a bespoke robot system often makes the cost prohibitive, as a minimum batch size will be necessary before it becomes commercially viable. CNC Robotics recognised a need for an out of the box robot that doesn t require bespoke tailoring and specifications that would appeal to smaller manufacturers. During 2018 they developed and created a prototype for a new smart product for manufacturers to embrace robotic technology into their workshops. The new plug and play solution for SMEs improves productivity and accuracy at a fraction of the cost of a large robotic system. The Multi 3 is an out of the box industrial robot aimed specifically at manufacturing SMEs who have remained relatively cautious about integrating automation into their business, either prohibited by cost or lack space. This first of its kind 'plug and play' industrial robot does not require bespoke tailoring and specifications, allowing manufacturers to improve productivity and accuracy at a fraction of the cost of large scale robotic systems. This standardised robot system is preprogramed to undertake only one chosen machining task which therefore eliminates a substantial cost element of cost. The pre-programmed choices will range from: milling, trimming, gluing, waterjet cutting, 3D printing, assembly, spray painting. The whole concept behind Multi 3 is that as a company or project grows, then more Multi 3 modules can be added together to create a production line and thereby an entire end to end solution. For example a company could 3D print a product, but then might need to drill holes and machine certain features away, in which case a second Multi 3 is added, a

third could be installed which undertakes packaging, so in this example a modular production line has been created for a total end to end solution, not just isolated processes. We anticipate there are over 460,000 manufacturing, construction and engineering firms that could benefit from the Multi 3 product in the UK alone. The main global targets are USA, Europe, Asia and Middle East where spending on robotics is twice that of the UK. We are also offering leasing options for UK companies, which will remove the barriers to entry. Requirement Two new websites: A new website for CNC Robotics to help reposition itself as the UKs leader in integrated robotic solutions. Multi 3 will be marketed independently of CNC Robotics and requires its own website. An annual SEO monthly services plan/campaigns for both CNC Robotics and Multi 3. CNC Robotics Website: The current website is clumsy and doesn t convey the business proposition effectively. The new website needs to focus on user journey that will generate leads and increase conversion rates. The analytics for the existing site show a huge drop off and that is because of long load times of the website and not effectively presenting and promoting the range of services to our target market. The new website will need to have advanced functionality allowing customers to view key product information, learn more about the business and funnel through a bespoke CRO and UX process to increase enquiries. Key Requirements of CNC Robotics website - Positions the business as leaders. Credibility embedded throughout. - Outlining the bespoke, R&D consultancy and training offering in a clear and understandable manner. - Clear screen and imagery. - Data capture - Responsive site - Manageable content management system. Multi 3 Website: It is envisaged that the site will have inbuilt functionality to configure the product Multi 3, incorporating various levels of options as the client scrolls through the option pages including add-ons, shipping etc. We are looking to commission CGI assets and animations to show high level rendering as such.

There will be 3 sizes of Multi 3 small, medium, large There will be circa 12 different process options to choose from eg painting, trimming, 3d printing etc. There will be 3 colours to choose from. Because this product is standardised with set options, then we want complex robotics to be directed to CNC Robotics website and simple in a box requirements to be fulfilled by Multi 3. Key Requirements of Multi 3 website - Not complex engaging experience - Making it easier to commit to sale - Clear screen and imagery. - Data capture - Responsive site - Manageable content management system. Points of note Please note that we have already commissioned CGI assets and animation via another agency, due to be completed by late March These final assets will need to be incorporated as part of website and these will be supplied by CNC Robotics to the appointed agency. Additional stock photography may need to be purchased. What do you want goods/service to do? To be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of market, having worked with previous clients on similar projects and in similar sectors. Deliverable Timescale Project commencement February 2019, with deliverables by April Indicative Budget Overall budget is 20k in total. We anticipate that to be split 16k for websites and 4k for monthly SEO services. Please quote for the website separately. Please quote for the SEO separately and on a monthly basis. Evaluation Criteria Quotations will be assessed and scored on the following criteria: Quality/ Technical Merit (50%) Supplier must demonstrate they have the technical and professional capability to deliver the requirement.

Delivery Timescale (20%) Supplier must demonstrate they can deliver the requirement to timescales above. Cost/Value for money (30%) Does supplier offer value for money. This will not necessarily be the cheapest quote. Scoring Methodology 4 Excellent Proposal meets and in some places, exceeds the required standard 3 Good Proposal meets required standard 2 Acceptable Proposal meets the required standard in most respects, but is lacking or inconsistent in others 1 Poor Proposal falls short of expected standard 0 Unacceptable Completely or significantly fails to meet required standard or does not provide the relevant answer Proposal Format Proposals should clearly demonstrate how they meet the requirement set out above.
