2 Capturing Vital Projects Right Data In The Right Format By The Right Team Member At The Right Time PMWeb provides the web-enabled platform to capture, share, store and report on project management processes either by using the default out-of-the-box forms or custom form builder. Each form has the fields that is needed for each project management process for which some could be pre-defined in lists to ensure standard data entry. Each form allows attaching all supportive documents and links to relevant records. The PMWeb workflow allows formalizing the collaboration when it comes to submitting, reviewing and approving the form. Those workflows could have conditions and branches that are based on the form attributes and values. The captured data can be reported on using tabular and graphical reports as well as customized dashboards. Those reports and dashboards can report on the data relevant to a single form or a combination of forms. PMWeb comes ready with SQL Reporting Services which is the application used to create reports and dashboards. This presentation explains how MS Power BI can provide great analysis of the captured data to have better insight to make better and faster decisions. In addition, the MS Power BI dashboards enables sharing this valuable PMWeb data with other stakeholders who might not be a PMWeb user but yet needs to be able to visualize projects performance as well as verify the source of reported data.
