4 Concourse + Gate Curbside Vocia s advanced automation capabilities enable reliable, continuous message communication where needed. Prerecorded curbside messages play as scheduled, while allowing for live pages as needed. These features provide a reliable way to communicate security, traffic flow and general messages to arriving and departing passengers. Live and prerecorded announcements are played in their designated areas only. These announcements can be made from paging stations or automatically, through Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS) via middleware or third-party controllers. Passenger arrival and departure messages, along with other messages, can be customized for each airline, for even greater accuracy and efficiencies. TYPICAL AIRPORT INSTALLATIONS. Baggage Claim Carousel information can be communicated from microphone stations or automatically, through FIDS (via middleware or third-party). The Ambient Noise Compensation (ANC-1) device automatically regulates message volume levels to ensure that messages are intelligible. Ticketing + Security Checkpoint Using either Wall or Desk Stations (WS-10/DS-10), pages can be sent from security checkpoints or ticket counters to specified zones, or across all zones. Pages sent from checkpoint areas are given the highest priority, ensuring immediate delivery.

Prerecorded and scheduled messages using VoIP are stored on the Message Server (MS-1) and played in specified zones as needed Narrowcasting vs. Broadcasting Thanks to Vocia s network-based architecture and zone-based configurations, announcements can be sent to precise locations.
