I m Jon Chorley, Chief Sustainability Officer and Group Vice President of Supply Chain Management Product Strategy. I m pleased to introduce new capabilities of our Product Lifecycle Management Cloud solutions. 2 We adhered to three guiding principles in Release 13: Go Broader, Deeper, and Better. 3

2 4 Here is how Oracle PLM Cloud is now even broader. Oracle PLM Cloud drives Innovation to Commercialization, the end-toend product lifecycle process that spans selecting the best ideas and requirements, translating them to product design, streamlining release, and getting ready for manufacturing, distribution and sales. You can transform fragmented processes into a single integrated value chain to rapidly innovate, develop, and commercialize more profitable products and services. 5 We are excited to introduce a new application - Quality Management Cloud. With Release 13, you have an enterprise quality management solution connecting: R&D, manufacturing, inventory, quality assurance and control. Oracle Quality Management Cloud lets you design for Quality by making sure accurate design information flows to inspection plans, without custom integration. 6 You can drive down cost and risk by enabling manufacturing and inventory personnel to perform inspections, identify non-conformances, and quickly alert the supply chain.

3 At the same time, you protect your brand by managing quality in a way that is controlled, consistent, auditable and holistic - from identification and containment, to root-cause analysis and corrective and preventative actions. This is your connected, closed-loop, and complete quality solution. 7 Now, let s talk about how Oracle PLM cloud is deeper. 8 You know that documents serve a critical role from product design through development. So PLM must provide a focused and simple way to classify, create, and manage documents to support profitability. With Release 13, you can create documents separate from items, allowing powerful management capabilities, configuration, and change control. Through the use of document structures, you can ensure alignment of change activity among related documents or a document collection to increase accuracy and productivity. This highly effective document management streamlines product development cycles and minimizes the risk of errors between critical documents and an evolving design. 9 10

4 Managing requirements can be complex when there are dependent or impacting connections and changes. With this release, you have improved traceability and change control over requirements, and a more detailed view of relationship impact and fulfillment status across requirements, concepts and items. Greater visibility helps you deliver expected value and meet customer needs. 11 In Release 13, new configurable change types give you better change control and determine the correct behavior based on the type of change and its applicability in a particular lifecycle phase. You may enable one or more of the pre-defined, internal change types or create your own. This promotes best practices and compliance to Change Configuration Management standards. You can enforce revision policies as items are affected and changes ripple through higher level assemblies and end items. Conversely, you can keep track of any non form-fit function changes without revising an item by using a Non Revision Change Order type. 12 And now, for better. 13

5 Oracle PLM Cloud has a new home experience and application work area. This modern user interface uses infolets, which are self-contained, interactive displays that help you quickly visualize high-level information, review details, and proceed to action. Because infolets are role-based, you see only what is relevant to you.
