3 Objective High Level Charter Institute SIG for Automotive sector inside NASSCOM to bring together Auto industry s key thought leaders on a common platform for exchange of ideas and solutions, deliberate challenges faced by the industry and build a cohesive engagement among OEMs, Tier-x suppliers and Service Providers through an eco system that fosters innovation, enables improvement in efficiency and shared best practices across stakeholders. Meeting Objective 1. To bring together participants of SIG-Automotive. 2. Kick off session for the Focus Groups identified under SIG to define framework and identify areas of action. 10 Summary of Kick-off Session Participants committed to identified themes Focus Group leadership will be on 6 month rotation basis Strong need to have continuity of thought and drive within FG; recommend participation of two members per organization to maintain the continuity of the agreed activities Continuous cross FG information flow and synergy essential (avoid functioning in silos) External interface to other SIGs is also essential (e.g Telecom) Project Leader to facilitate this along with NASSCOM Support from NASSCOM for spreading more awareness in the industry circles over this SIG through various channels and inviting more participation Collaboration tool is the need of the hour for virtual networking Long term goal could be to host nation-wide contest on Open Innovation from identified areas of the FGs 10
