3 QlikView 12 Launch - Headline Launch Headline Story: QlikView 12: Qlik enhances enterprise capabilities of the widely adopted product line, while improving compatibility with its next generation Qlik Sense offering. With QlikView 12, Qlik delivers on its commitment to its proven, market-leading data discovery solution. QlikView 12 now runs on the second generation QIX (Qlik Data Indexing) engine that powers Qlik Sense and the Qlik Analytics Platform. QlikView customers will benefit from the performance improvements delivered via a seamless upgrade through the updated QIX engine, and be able to more easily share data models between Qlik Sense and QlikView. QlikView 12 delivers greater accessibility through enhanced mobile touch-enabled capabilities and deployments will benefit from enhanced security and deployment options. QlikView 12 strengthens Qlik s unique platform approach to visual analytics, by strengthening the portfolio under the same core engine, delivering greater compatibility between them, and offering value added services such as Qlik s Data as a Service offering, Qlik DataMarket. 10 RESTful API Connector Enables QlikView to natively connect to web services that offer a RESTful API Supports the open standard for web based data sources such as: Social: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn CMS: Alfresco, Documentum, Adobe Any service which offers a RESTful API No longer requires a third party vendor or extensions to support this type of connectivity Improved QlikView compatibility with social media sites, CMS systems, and other online services

11 Qlik DataMarket A new, unique, cloud based data service (DaaS) from Qlik Access to a large number of public and syndicated data sets from trusted providers Numerous topic areas such as business demographics, currencies, population, economic indicators, weather and more Free and subscription based data available directly in QlikView Users can get an outside-in perspective, easily augmenting and cross referencing internal data with external sources, to gain context and drive deeper insights.

12 QlikView Future Support Statement Qlik has continued to deliver updates for QlikView 11.2 (the current major release of QlikView), including Service Releases (SRs) since its initial release in Our plan is to deliver QlikView 12 in 2015, following which we plan to support and deliver SRs on QlikView 12 for a period of 24 months after the next major release of QlikView, or longer at our discretion. Support for QlikView 11.2 will be provided, for a period of 24 months following the release of QlikView 12, or longer at our discretion. QlikView 12 includes a number of planned enhancements including the next generation QIX engine and additional performance improvements. QlikView will also benefit from our planned investments in Qlik DataMarket and QlikView NPrinting.
