3 I. PURPOSE: The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to obtain Statement of Qualifications from interested SWAM Contractors in order to select a list of a minimum of 10 contractors (4 Small, 3 Woman and 3 Minority Owned Businesses). This RFQ is for two (2) years from the contract issuance date. At the completion of the two year period, the College will re-solicit SWAM contractors to submit their qualifications and a new list will be established. All certified SWAM contractors that were previously prequalified must reapply to be considered, reconsideration is not automatic. The College reserves the right to revoke the pre-qualified status from any contractor at any time for cause (sub-standard performance) if a prequalified Contractor s lack of performance warrants. Prequalification status may also be revoked if the Contractor s license or DMBE certification expires during the 2-year time period of this RFP.
