2 NICMAR Hyderabad has developed this customized program to empower the Project Managers, Planners, Executives Architects, and Engineers in understanding project scope, resource allocation, attributes of the deliverables, expected budget, team structure, risk mitigation techniques, etc through project management software as it is imperative to become proficient in the use of Computers for Project Management. PRIMAVERA (P6: Version 15.2) module is one of the contemporary project scheduling and controlling software developed on Oracle and Microsoft SQL server relational databases for wider enterprise project applications. The prime advantage of Primavera Project Planner over other competitive scheduling software packages is to enable organizations to archive and manage multi-project planning & control of varied projects in a single centralized location in a hassle free manner. The module supports work breakdown structures (WBS), organizational breakdown structures (OBS), user-defined fields and codes, critical-path-method (CPM) scheduling, and resource leveling. MICROSOFT PROJECT (2013), is a software product, developed and sold by Microsoft. It is designed to assist a project manager in developing a plan, assigning resources to tasks, tracking progress, managing the budget, and analyzing workloads. Within a couple of years of its introduction it became the dominant PC-based project management software. CANDY CCS (2.0), is a dynamic construction software which provides stand alone multifaceted modules like Project Estimation, Project Control, Project Planning, Value engineering, Cash flow Generation QTOs (Quantity take offs), Supply Chain Management, Engineering documentation etc., for effective Management of projects in the AEC industry. OBJECTIVES The Programme is designed to fulfill the following training objectives: To understand the basic Project Management Techniques in Construction Projects. To provide easy to use approach to Project Planning using leading software packages. To provide inputs on controlling & monitoring the projects big or small using latest software packages.
