SOLUTION BRIEF What s New In Calero VeraSMART 12.2 Features and Productivity Enhancements for TEM Customers General New Functionality Mobile Carrier ebonding Calero VeraSMART 12.2 introduces Mobile Carrier ebonding (electronic bonding) with Verizon Wireless. ebonding allows VeraSMART to interact directly with Verizon systems for the purpose of automating Mobility Service Desk requests. Prior to ebonding, mobility managers had to navigate to the Verizon portal to perform most Service Desk requests. With ebonding, mobility managers can perform all functions from initial request through to the completion of orders right from within the VeraSMART application. ebonding will increase automation of new orders and updates of service for the mutual customers of VeraSMART and Verizon, while also eliminating many time consuming, manual processes. Mobile Carrier ebonding is available as a licensed option. International Wireless Numbers Calero VeraSMART now supports internationally formatted wireless numbers. When creating a new wireless number, wireless numbers will now have an associated country and country code. Upon upgrade, 10-digit numbers will be reformatted as +1 (NANP) 11-digit numbers starting with a 1 will have the 1 removed and will be formatted as +1 (NANP) All other numbers will not designate a country code

International Wireless Numbers (continued) Additionally, the 12.2 release adds new options that allow users to determine how to handle international wireless numbers configured from an import. If the import specifically states to use a certain country, the wireless number will use the format of that country and add that country s E.164 country code (if necessary) On upgrades, imports will default to NANP (North American Numbering Plan) For customers not licensed for multinational, VeraSMART will always assume the number is +1 (NANP). International wireless number support is available as part of the multinational license. Performance Improvements Version 12.2 includes a number of performance improvements, including upgraded performance of: Financial Forecast calculations Invoice Voucher PDF generation engine Unused Extensions list view Allocated Charge list view Mobile Portal Enhancements Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Support BYOD registration enables comprehensive device tracking for the personally owned wireless devices employees use for business. In certain situations, employees are permitted to use their own wireless number and device (cell phones, tablets, laptops, etc.) for business purposes. These devices continue to be owned by the employee, but are tracked by the company. User liable BYOD devices will be denoted with an icon on the Wireless Portal Home page. In addition to Register BYOD Device Requests, users can also Remove or Update BYOD Requests. To ensure BYOD functionality is available from the Wireless Portal, Enable Bring Your Own Device requests under the Options for New Devices/Services section in the Wireless Portal Configuration page. BYOD is available as part of the mobility procurement license. Multicurrency Support VeraSMART supports multicurrency for our Wireline and Wireless TEM customers. Wireline Users with a multinational license can now specify the currency on a Master Account and have all of the related invoice charges updated automatically, regardless if invoices already exist in VeraSMART. Note that if the Master Account currency changes, all existing invoices under it will also have their currency conversions recalculated.

Multicurrency Support (continued) Wireless In systems with a multinational license, Wireless Plans, Device Models, and Accessories can now all specify currency. This additional functionality is designed for customers who have a multinational footprint and may require different currencies depending upon the wireless carrier options available for their users. System currency will be assumed unless otherwise specified Reporting, including EZ-Share, will honor currency Invoice import process will honor currency if provided in invoice data Multicurrency support is available as part of the multinational license. Terms of Service Customer-specific Terms of Service can now be configured via the Mobility Portal Configuration page. Enabling this feature will require Wireless Portal users accept Terms of Service before any MySMART order can be placed. Invoice Management Enhancements Multiple Invoices per Month Master Accounts can specify the expected frequency of invoices. Version 12.2 adds the option to inform VeraSMART that there should be multiple invoices per month. When creating or editing a Master Account, users can now enter the expected number of Invoices per month if Multiple per month is selected. Invoice Frequency and Expected number of invoices can be added to the Missing Invoices page view to facilitate invoice tracking. (Invoice Management > Accounts > Invoice Imports > Missing Invoices)

Non-Telecom Invoices Calero VeraSMART has expanded its ability to process and manage invoices and charges by adding the option to select a Service Type (telecom or non-telecom). Service Type options include: Telecom (default), Power, Rent, Cross-connect, Pro-service The Service Type is set by the Invoice Reader when invoices are imported. If not specified by the Reader, charges default to Telecom. Service Type is available as a configurable filter and display field for EZ-Shares, Reports, and List Views which are used for Invoice Charges or Assigned Charges. Power Invoices If Service Type = Power, several new fields are available: Usage Days, Average kwh per day, Service Period Start Date, and Service Period End Date. Usage Days = number of days between Service Period Start Date and Service Period End Date Average kwh per day = QUANTITY divided by Usage Days These fields are available for Analytics, and as a configurable filter and/or display field for EZ-Shares, Reports, and List Views which are used for Invoice Charges or Assigned Charges. Non-telecom invoice support is available as part of the Non- Telecom Invoices license. Allocate Charges by Invoice Items Using Linked Inventory VeraSMART 12.2 provides users with a new option to code invoice charges by inventory. Prior to the 12.2 release, allocation could only be set at the Master Account, Sub-account, or Invoice Item level. When users choose to allocate charges on the Invoice Item using linked inventory, charges will be allocated according to the linked Inventory Item s configuration. Additionally, the link between the Inventory Item s allocation configuration and the Invoice Item s allocation configuration is now a live link this means that allocations can be updated on the Inventory Item and will be used during allocation with no changes to the Invoice Item. This change will make it significantly easier for users to maintain correct allocation relationships between inventory and invoices. SBC Support CUBE Support VeraSMART 12.2 now supports Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE). Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) is a unified communications border element that bridges voice and video connectivity between two separate VoIP networks. It is similar to a traditional voice gateway, except for the replacement of physical voice trunks with an IP connection. CUBE support is available as part of the SBC license. Avaya SBC Support VeraSMART 12.2 now supports Avaya Session Border Controller (SBC) using a FTP/SFTP connection. Starting with version 11.1, VeraSMART introduced support for collecting calls from SBCs, for the purpose of offering the new SBC CDR Matching option. This option is now available for Avaya SBC. Avaya SBC support is available as part of the SBC license.

Reporting & Analytics New Analytics Filters Various Inventory Management analytics sheets can now be filtered by Location Hierarchy. Location Hierarchy can be configured at Organization > Organization > Location Various Invoice Management analytics sheets can now be filtered by Organization Hierarchy. Organizational Hierarchy can be configured at Organization > Organization > Configure Organizational Levels. Personnel and Cost Center are available as the default. EZ-Share Trending EZ-Share can now perform simple trending. The Trending tab (new) will allow users to Enable Trending only if specific conditions are exactly met. For all other situations, the functionality will be disabled and the user will receive informational text explaining why trending is disabled. To have EZ-Share trend data, select output fields (on the Field Selection tab) that meet these requirements: One (1) NUMERIC field this is the number to be trended One (1) DATE field this can be a date/date-time field or Accounting Period name The output format cannot be fixed width You can choose to trend the Sum, Average, Minimum, or Maximum.

Insight Analytics Bookmarks & Stories User bookmarks and stories will no longer be lost during the nightly rebuild process. Prior to VeraSMART 12.2, each analytic application was rebuilt nightly - this caused bookmarks and stories to be lost. Now, data will be refreshed nightly and the system will flag analytics that need rebuilding only as needed. Changes that will cause one or more analytics to need a rebuild: Changing GL segments (adding/removing/renaming) Changing Org levels (adding/removing/renaming) Enabling/disabling the Short Pay feature Changing the labels of ticket UDF s involved in disputes (Claim Category, Claim Type, etc.) Changing the system setting Number of invoices to check for Device having no usage alert Changing the system culture Changing the database connection If system changes are discovered, the System Administrator will be alerted when they next log in. They can then rebuild the analytic from the Refresh Analytics page by clicking the Rebuild icon.
