Nisol s wide range of products is used extensively by various large manufacturing companies such as those in the apparel and FMCG sectors, and Nisol is an important player in providing corrugated packaging solutions to the country s export oriented economy. In order for the company to stay at the forefront of the market, it decided to consolidate its previously disparate IT infrastructure. Working closely with HP, the company deployed the HP Integrity Server and Prestige Atlantic ERP solution (CPS/Enterprise 2009) to achieve the performance, stability and scalability it was looking for. Ltd with Asahi Shiko KK, both companies from Japan. Japan Pulp and Paper is listed in Tokyo Stock Exchange, First Section employing over 1,000 employees worldwide. Its major activities included import, export, sales and distribution of paper, paper board, pulp, paper related productions, plastics, and paper-related machinery. Asahi Shiko KK is one of the oldest Japanese manufactures of carton boxes. In current development, Rengo Co. Ltd, one of a Japanese largest manufacturer of corrugated board, boxes and paperboard packaging, has acquired a majority stage in Asahi Shiko K.K. Rengo Co. Ltd is well recognized of its many joint-ventures in oversea, especially in East and North Asia. PT Oriental Asahi JP Carton Box (OAJ) is the first and modern corrugated packaging company in Jakarta, Indonesia. In order for OAJ to remain as the leader in the market, OAJ is keen to implement CPS/Enterprise to integrate all its departmental operations, especially in Sales Order, Work Order, Corrugating Schedule and Mitsubishi Sigma Production Management System (in short called MHI Sigma). After few sessions of exchanges and director meetings held in the middle of March 2009 in OAJ s Jakarta office with the engineers from Mitsubishi s Paper & Printing Machinery Division, our Business Director, Jeff Lye agreed to supply prototype software to test out the CPS/Enterprise Work Order which links to MHI Sigma. The test data will be sent out to Mitsubishi Japan R&D to be tested in the end of April 2009.

Why installing CPS/Enterprise Plug-In Weight Bridge Controller? The benefit is to balance check actual weight from Weight Scale machine comparing to Finished Goods computed weight. In older days, such checking is not possible without integrating the weight scale machine with CPS/Enterprise Plug-In Weight Bridge Controller. With this new addition in the system, any discrepancy (different beyond allowable tolerance) will immediately alert the security guard before allowing the truck to go off. The system also comes with the option to install with a revolving light plus alarm to give a stronger alertness.
