Welcome to SCOPE T&M Pvt. Ltd. Solutions for the Power Sector

SCHELOG Maintenance Manager 28/09/2007 SCOPE T&M Pvt. Ltd. Pune (India)

Purpose End Users and their Roles Assumptions - Entities and Nomenclature Proposed Reports Architecture Proposed User Interface

SCHELOG is a system by which maintenance of equipments can be scheduled, conducted, monitored and analyzed. Purpose of SCHELOG Schedule test activities for the various types of equipments. Collect test results and monitor the test activities using system generated alarms. Especially of those that do not communicate with SCADA Analyze test results to reduce downtime and carry out pro-active maintenance. Enable timely action thereby minimizing the possibility of system failure and avoiding huge documentation. Mandatory TOOL for conducting RLA & RLE of GRID EQUIPMENTS.

Role based Users of SCHELOG Substation Engineer (Conduct and Monitor tests) Substation In-charge (Schedule, Monitor, Forward and Approve tests) Regional HQ User (Forward, Approve and Analyze tests) Corporate Center User (Approve and Analyze tests)

Entity Hierarchy Corporate Center Regional Headquarter Substation Voltage Ratings (e.g. 11 kv, 33 kv, 66 kv, 220 kv...) EUT Locations (e.g. CB712, CT852 etc.) with associated EUT Type (Protection Relays, Transformer, Circuit Breaker, CT, PT, LA, etc...)

Equipment Under Test (EUT) EUT Type (Main and Auxiliary Equipments e.g. Protection Relays, Transformer, Circuit Breaker, CT, PT, LA, AC Systems, DG Set etc.) Components (e.g. CB R Phase, Brk1, Brk2 etc.) Component Types (e.g. ABB 33 kv) Component Hierarchy based on Component Types EUT Location History & Component History with tracking

Equipment Tests EUT Type specific test definitions with attached frequency, approval level and test parameters Define parameter limits based on component type Pre-defined test formats Test Schedule Plan on yearly basis with ad-hoc changes Test Instruments Calibration Schedule

Reports Trend Analysis of a component against test parameter Performance comparison a component of different types / make (e.g. CB ABB v/s CGL) Report of major maintenance of components Test Schedules (Date wise, Substation wise, EUT Location wise, Status wise) Equipment Failure Reports (EFR) (Contd..)

Benefits SCHELOG is designed to acquire data in order to monitor substation equipment that does not communicate with SCADA. This is not offered by any ERP package. There is a GAP in the Asset Management Features provided by standard ERP as it creates a database ONLY of Assets that are on SCADA. SCHELOG fills this gap and adds value to your existing ERP. This VALUE is in the form of a responsive scheduling feature, asset-linked database and the possibilities of analysis of data to enable actions that lead to Condition Based Maintenance of assets.

Benefits Startup graphics is in the form of single line diagrams for substations. Each equipment location is easily identified in a manner the engineers are familiar with GUI Features 1. Movement of cursor near an equipment symbol gives the location ID automatically. 2. A visual alarm on equipment symbol indicates that a scheduled activity is pending.3. Separate tabs are provided for GUI of each voltage rating.

Benefits A single click on the equipment location the user gets all related information 1. Component Hierarchy.. 2. Attached location specific document. 3. Attached component specific document. 4. Attached component type specific information. 5. Location History. 6. Component History with maintenance history. 7. Test Schedules pending at this particular location. Visual Alarms for Test Instrument Calibration due. Equipment Failure Report for replacement of component or any major maintenance takes place.

Benefits Cost of maintenance i.e. man days, repairs and/or replacement. It is easy to create new test report formats or update existing formats and add it to the system. Preinstalled application software is opened automatically on clicking attached test report in soft format. Test procedures for each test are available as attachments. Facility to reschedule test, Skip test, Disapprove, Approve with condition.

Benefits Test reports are passed upwards from the test engineer to approval level with provision for entering remarks by each level in the hierarchy of the organization. By using Role Management administrator can give required access of this software to different role users. Trend Analysis reports are available for trend of single parameters over the period of time. Provision to add -comm. values to test report. Separate tabs for Auxiliary and Protection equipments in the startup GUI.

Benefits: An Effective TOOL to Implement RLA & RLE for GRID EQUIPMENTS
