3 Introduction This document is intended to help instructional organizations develop training courses and materials based on the itedas standard. This syllabus is intended to provide both the examination details and requirements. In addition, this document supports content practitioners by supplying them with an innovative and unique approach towards the subject matter while ensuring professional quality. The Certified Scrum Practitioner" syllabus is designed to furnish participants with the necessary knowledge in order to perform successfully within a Scrum team. The participants ability to recall and respond to the corresponding terms and concepts and demonstrate their applicable usage is the basis of the examination. After successfully passing the examination, the participant is certified and is issued an internationally-recognized certificate by Certible, an independent and internationally operating certification authority. Target Group This program has been created for those who are looking to professionally engage in a Scrum projects, either as a Scrum Master, a Product Owner or as a member of a development team. The syllabus considers the fact that all Scrum team members must have the same uniform knowledge to professionally execute their duties. This basic knowledge is also reflected in the respective types of certification offered. Regardless of the role you might have within a Scrum team, be it a developer, a Product Owner or Scrum Master, essential Scrum skills are required on top of those expected from the individual role per se. This training program provides exactly that basis. Examination Prerequisites None. It is recommended that the participant have relevant practical experience in either classical or agile project management as the content is otherwise difficult to understand apply. If the candidate is holding a certification other than the itedas Certified Scrum Practitioner certification, a sufficient familiarity with the terminology applied must be ensured (see bibliography).
