2 type of traffic violations most common in Denton, the geographic locations where more violations take place, and the actions taken by the police department in response. 0 Web Database System Development (MySQL and PHP) 1 Designed and implemented a web database system with three teammates using MySQL and PHP, which is an online database system collecting the information about the people related to data science. For this project, we applied data collecting (collect data from digital sources or others), organizing (design the database table to hold collected data), cleaning (process raw data to meet the needs of database storage), and uploading (design web interface and write PHP program so data can be added to the database interactively and/or automatically) techniques. 0 Database System Design and Implementation (Microsoft Access) 1 Designed and implemented a database system with a teammate to be used by E-Car Rental, an online rental car company, specializing in renting cars to customers. It is an online database system through which customers can view available cars, register, book car and check reservation. 0 Data Mining (SAS Enterprise Miner) 1 Performed segmentation analysis, market basket analysis and logistic regression analysis in SAS Enterprise Miner along with SQL on Housing Affordability Data System in a team of 3 people. Used SAS Enterprise Miner to build a regression model successfully and get better understanding of the variables that will affect the monthly housing cost. Build another regression model with PCA variable and compare the previous model. Run a cluster model successfully by placing variables into groups, and look for characteristics in each clusters.
