4 Goals and structure of a Competence center The project consists of 7 project partners from research and associations, consists of over 20 employees, has regional branches throughout Bavaria, has a three-year grant from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), is part of the funding initiative "Mittelstand Digital Production and Work Processes" as part of the funding priority "Mittelstand-Digital - Strategies for the Digital Transformation of Business Processes". All services of the Mittelstand 4.0 Competence Center Augsburg are free of charge

14 Summary The target group are small and medium-sized enterprises as well as handicraft businesses. The center is part of a large network of competence centers in Germany. Currently, trainings and pilot projects are carried out in different industries. All services are free!
