3 Folders Key to the flexibility of the Maximailer Plus is the powerful and versatile Tower Folder. This is available with a single 500-sheet hopper, or three hoppers with a total 1,000-sheet capacity. As it is equipped with a three-plate fold mechanism it is able to create almost any type of fold, in up to 8 sheets collated together from the various hoppers. All units are fitted with a Daily-Post hopper as standard. Also available is a Single Folder module which may be fitted at any position, should you require a different type of fold, or a specific order of documents. Insert Feeders Once again, there are two types of insert feeder module available. The single feeder is able to process a wide range of inserts from 60gsm sheets up to booklets 4mm thick. For those where space is at a premium, the Twin-Feeder is still capable of feeding 4mm inserts, but can also feed another insert up to 2mm thick from the upper station. Document Security Each individual station on the Maximailer Plus is equipped with an infra-red electronic double document detection system, ensuring the integrity of your mailings. In addition to this the OMR and Barcode facilities allow document sequence control to further ensure that no errors are made in insertion. For those who need to have complete tracking of their workload, the combination of imos data-logging facility and PiCS integrity checking creates a complete audit trail. 4 modular options Tower Folder The tower design of the folder saves space and can hold up to 1,000 documents. The collate unit can gather together up to 8 sheets to be folded in the format of your choice, or simply hand-feed stapled sets. Single Feeder Each feed unit can be set to process any format of insert up to 4mm thick, and hold up to 300 documents. Single Folder The Single Folder module may be fitted at any position, allowing complete flexibility of fold-type and document order. Like the Tower Folder, all fold settings are controlled and set automatically by the imos software. Easy Access A key feature of the Maximailer Plus is accessibility, wherever your documents are in the system. All internal controls are coloured green for operator safety. Twin Feeder The twin feeder allows two different inserts to be loaded without requiring more valuable space. Each station has a capacity of over 200 documents. Envelope Feeder With a hopper holding over 400 envelopes, which can be reloaded without stopping the system, the Maximailer Plus handles sizes such as C6, DL and C5, with ease. All internal guides and controls are adjusted automatically, each time an application is selected.

5 At the heart of the Maximailer Plus is PFE's unique imos software. This allows all functions of the system to be programmed from a touchscreen PC system with virtually no manual adjustment, and no need for tools or costly jobset time. Once a job has been programmed, it can be simply recalled at any time and the MaxiMailer Plus will adjust itself ready for use. There is no limit to the number of jobs that can be saved or the simplicity or complexity of each. The flexible OMR and Barcode reading technology means that virtually all existing systems can be read, and that different jobs can use different parameters. Once the job is running, a full graphical display of its progress can be seen, along with speed and production data, and any operator assistance message that may be necessary. When the production is over, the detailed statistics and data-logging facilities enable the operator to report on any aspect of their work, or to ensure that every document has reached its intended destination. The optional pics software can then be used to interrogate this data for more detailed reporting, or to produce re-print files. Optimise your outgoing mail Indocs - OMR and Barcode Creation In order to process mail efficiently, the Maximailer Plus is able to read a pre-prepared OMR or Barcode on your documents and intelligently decide how to process them. This can include accumulating multi-page documents and adding specific additional inserts. Indocs reads the data in your unprinted documents and adds the appropriate coding before printing, enabling the Maximailer Plus to read them and perform all of these functions automatically. In order to further optimise your use of the Maximailer Plus, indocs is capable of sorting through your unprinted documents and collating together any that are intended Mail Processing Software for the same recipient, thus saving considerably on postage costs. Indocs works on any Windows operating system, thereby giving all the simplicity of click-and-drag set-up. Therefore, no prior programming knowledge is necessary, and no lengthy and costly consultancy is required. PICS - Integrity Checking Where indocs process your documents before printing, PiCS ensures that you have processed all those important documents right through to the mailbag. PiCS is designed to read the Log Files created by the Data-Logging facility within imos and give the user complete flexibility in the interrogation of this data to ensure the mailing is complete. Whether it is to record documents mailed by hand, or to generate reprint files, PiCS Closes the Loop of mail production. It also includes a powerful report generator which can search all PFE Integrity Checking System history files and produce reports on activity, production, or simply the date a specific customer's invoice was mailed.
