4 Eco Infrastructure Solution s (EIS) detectable underground marking tapes are manufactured for the highest visibility in all types of soil conditions. APWA Color-Coded diagonal warning stripes are printed along with big, bold, black lettering to identify what type of utility line is buried below. EIS offers detectable underground marking tape to meet or exceed all industry standards. Detectable underground marking tape must be a minimum of 5.0 mils in structural thickness, and be reverse printed which will ensure maximum longevity while buried in all types of soil conditions. A solid aluminum foil core with a minimum mils in thickness must be used for effective locatability. EIS detectable tape can be printed in any language or customized with special imprints and logos. Non-detectable underground marking tape acts as a STOP SIGN to prevent accidental dig-ins. EIS offers non-detectable underground marking tapes to meet or exceed all industry standards. Non-detectable underground marking tapes must be a minimum of 4.0 mils for the economy version and 6.0 mils in structural thickness for premium grade. All non-detectable underground marking tapes are made with a solid color, organic polyethylene film that utilizes big, bold, black lettering. These above ground marking tapes are available in several mil thicknesses. Available in 2.0 mils, 3.0 mils, and 4.0 mils of structural thickness. Barricade tape is printed utilizing big, bold, black lettering. EIS can print in any language or customize the tape with special imprints or logos. Flagging tape is fluorescent or standard colors with several sizes to choose from. EIS s flagging tapes are excellent for hazard identification, surveying, forestry applications and flagging boundaries. Flagging tapes are also available with stripes or polka-dots. 8 Eco Infrastructure Solution s (EIS) Safety Type THHN or THWN-2 conductors are primarily used in conduit and cable trays for services, feeders, and branch circuits in commercial or industrial applications as specified in the National Electrical Code, as well as underground tracer wire to effectively locate and detect underground utility lines through means of conductive location. When used as Type THHN, conductor is suitable for use in dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90 C. When used as Type THWN-2, conductor is suitable for use in wet or dry locations at temperatures to exceed 90 C or not to exceed 75 C wen exposed to oil or coolant. When used as Type MTW, conductor is suitable for use in wet locations or when exposed to oil or coolant at temperatures not to exceed 60 C or dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90 C (with ampacity limited to that for 75 C conductor temperature per NFPA 79). Conductor temperatures not to exceed 105 C in dry locations when rated AWM and used as appliance wiring material. Voltage for all applications is 600 volts. EIS s Type THHN or THWN-2 or MTW meets or exceeds all applicable ASTM specifications, UL Standard 83, UL Standard 1063 (MTW), Federal Specification A-A-59544, and requirements of the National Electrical Code. EIS s Type THHN or THWN-2 or MTW copper conductors are annealed (soft) copper, insulated with tough heat and moisture resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC), over which a nylon (polyamide) or UL-listed equal jacket is applied. Type PE is insulated with low density, high molecular weight polyethylene (HMWPE). HMWPE is a rugged and durable material considered excellent for moisture and abrasion resistance. PE wire conductors are suitable for direct burial use in wet or dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 75 C. Voltage for all applications is 600 volts. EIS s Type PE wire meets or exceeds all applicable ASTM specifications, UL standards, federal specifications, and requirements of the National Electrical Code. EIS s Type PE copper conductors are annealed (soft) copper or hard-drawn, insulated with an excellent heat and moisture resistant high molecular weight polyethylene material. Type UF is insulated with the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material. PVC is a durable material that is considered to be tough for moisture and abrasion resistance. Type UF copper conductors are suitable for direct burial use in wet or dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 75 C. Voltage for all applications is 600 volts. Available in black, white, red, blue, green, yellow and purple. Some colors standard, some subject to economic order quantity. EIS s Type UF meets or exceeds all applicable ASTM specifications, UL standards, federal specifications, and requirements of the National Electrical Code.
